Got my new shoes fitted today, but didn’t expect to drop for new rubber. I knew I was going to have to get some before next winter. There was a 3” gash on the sidewall that I’ve known about for a few years, but they said it was to the belt and couldn’t swap them to the new wheels. So I wrapped them in Michelin Defender LTX M/S.

I know she's dirty, tough to keep it clean in the Colorado mountains in the winter.

Not today...but basically the past 6 months, truck was in the shop a lot because I just didn't have the time or patience to get these projects done. Had Carbon Fiber body parts installed in place of bedsides, front fenders and hood. Friends shop in Phoenix had the truck for just over two months and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Took a quick hour afternoon to install the under seat storage. After that I got the truck into High Altitude Motorsports in Denver area to install the Icon stage 10 kit. Got it back home to install the new wheels/tires (TIS 20x12.5 wrapped in Toyo Open Country ATIII Tire 35x12.50R20) This combo rubbed on me so found a new front bumper (Addictive Desert Designs Stealth bumper) and decided to replace the plasti-dipped grill with a new DB customs front grill at a buddies place cause I don't have a garage. I know it's probably not for everyone but that's why it's my truck, great hobby to have just never ending. Next is the lights for the new bumper (40" Arc6x from Baja and 2-10" S8 light bars) and the install of Morimoto taillights, 3rd brake light, and A-pillar 4 banger lights.

Also, replaced my passenger side headlight since I ran into the big wash bucket at our local sandpaper car wash and cracked the lower housing causing moisture to get in.

A little overdue at 147k (I’ve owned since 117k) but changed my spark plugs. I’d say it was time. Wasn’t too bad of job but definitely glad I have a good set of swivels and extensions or it would have been a PITA.

Pro grille and AJT TSS relocation bracket. Had to move the trans cooler for it to fit. Light mounting is in work.

At some point those letters may become Barcelona Red. I used the AJT kit. I haven't tested it yet.....:fingerscrossed:

I had the Wrangler Duratrac's on my Jeep before the Tundra and they were great! I'll get them again when my current tires are due to be replaced.

Swapped on a TRD pro grill. Costed 185$. Didn't come with surround or bulge. I know it's mostly covered by the bumper but still looks way better IMO.

Next I need to sand the headlights and give it a wash

Keep an eye on the forum marketplace. There has been some excellent condition headlights for sale at really good prices in there. You could always get a set and then put PPF on them to.prevent the hazing.

I just meant that I am going to wet sand them clear again and then clear coat them. Some nice aftermarket headlights would look pretty nice though if anyone has any they want to get rid of

Depending on what you want to spend on them, there is a brand new set of Morimoto XB's in the forum....I don't think they have sold yet.

I don't think they made Pro's in 14, but I could be mistaken. Either way, I have the same one and like it better than the 18-21.

They list it to fit the 14-17 because of the body style. Obviously it will fit the 18-21 as well but you have to relocate the TSS sensor.

I gave in and got the Husky 20 Gallon compressor to finish up the media blast. Much better.
Cleaned up with acetone. 2 coats Rust-oleum high heat primer...took 2 cans exactly. 2 coats Rust-oleum high heat flat black...took about 2.5 cans. Bubble wrapped the exhaust to protect the finish during install.
Since I was down there and had more room with the exhaust removed, I went ahead and greased the driveshaft u-joints with Lucas Red N Tacky. Removed the spare tire, installed the exhaust using the new gaskets + hardware, torqued to spec, removed bubble wrap, and re-installed the spare tire. Hit the tips with some Turtle Wax chrome polish and magic eraser. Ehh...might try some Nevr-dull later. o_O
Followed the heat cure...10 minutes idle, 20 minutes off, 20 minutes idle, 20 minutes off, and 30 minutes driving. Heck yeah!
