TRD upgrade headlights in, waiting on 2014 harness. TRD grill ordered (with MMG hood bump and surround), figured I replace while replacing the headlights! Looking forward to the new look. Been stock (except for the predator steps and bed cover) since new in 2014!

I did this to my Tundra today. I was pulling my small trailer(no trailer brakes) today and had to break pretty hard because traffic stopped pretty quick in front of me. I was close enough to the vehicle in front of me that the anti-collision warning popped up on my dash but I had no problem stopping with room to spare. After I started moving again I got these two warnings on my dash. Alarm will clear for a little while if I shut down and restart truck but it has been coming back up. Sometimes it stays off a little longer and sometimes it pops up as soon as I crank up. Has anyone ever had this issue? The trailer I was towing does not have trailer breaks only turn and break lights. I’m still getting alarm without trailer hooked up. Hope someone can help me out with this. I really don’t want to have to go to dealership.

I currently have the “pre-collision system malfunction” on my truck. It popped up completely randomly and hasn’t gone away for a month. I use cruise control often, so I have an appointment with the dealership this week. Hopefully it’s just an easy fix.

They are really nice, and not very expensive. The only downside is that they mount with just screws into the plastic. But they will stay with the truck if I ever sell it, so I'm not too worried. If I ever take off the plastics, I'll replace the screws with nuts/bolts. But I'm no where near that motivated right now.

Did your just come up for no reason or was it from breaking hard. I’m pretty sure it had something to do with having a trailer hooked up on mine.

I’m going to. I was just hoping it was something simple that I could do myself. Just a big hassle having to take it in.

I would trade my Parking assist for BSM any day of the week. Strange why things are different for Canada with packages. I hate that we have to pay for Toyota connect!

Wanted to get some PPF on my headlights before they get all pitted. Made an attempt today and it looks so awful that I couldn't put pics as the OCD among the Tundras.com community might not survive. I tried to use a precut set and I think it was harder than if I had cut my own. I may try that before I pay someone to do it for me.
On the plus side, as bad as it looks, it'll keep them protected until I get it done right. Figure maybe I'll have the front windows tinted at the same time to make a day of it if I don't manage to do it beforehand.

Also compounded out a few mild scratches on either side of the bed which sorta made up for the headlight sh*tshow.

All I have to say is that Casey is truly amazing. He made the install look easy (I think he said this is the fourth set of Boost mirrors he has installed and he has put his on twice). It took him maybe 5 minutes and he had the interior ripped out like the picture he shared (might have been longer than 5 minutes but it seriously wasn't long). He is super nice and I was grateful for his help with the electrical. He definitely made the wiring safer and cleaner than what I would have done and no way would I have been able to do everything we did in the time frame it took.

We gotta pay for that too
BSM and sonar are separate systems but usually bundled together (except for chrome bumpers). It’s possible you have most of the wiring needed for BSM if you already have sonar
