Ah yes, I did look back then to see the pic with the light out and about the PPF on the new ones. Very cool indeed. I am jealous of that switch. Mine desperately needs the ihacker harness/LED headlight upgrade.

Fingerprints on the outside of the door. People when they get out of the truck
Not sure if these are what you are looking for? If not I’m sure @2020Platinum may have some not on a truck. The top two are of the front doors and the bottom two are of the back doors

Not sure if this well help the forum or not. I ordered and installed a 60" Double Row LED Tailgate Light Bar from CK Formula (Amazon) today. It came with a 4-Pin connector and separate wire that was spliced directly into the reverse wire of one of the tail lights. I wanted to hardwire the 4-Pin wires into the 7-Pin harness that was under the truck. Below are some pictures of the original 4-Pin connector, my wiring diagrams and some pictures.

@Rangergillikin, how dim can you make them? Do they bug you while driving at night?

Nice. I added one of these so I could replace pieces if needed without affecting the original harness. Glad you got yours to work.

Ah, I have a cheap set of Amazon that is always on but has multiple brightness levels and the lowest level is where mine stayed. If they were stuck at their brightest, it would definitely affect my night vision.

I just put mine in and doesn’t affect me at all, it doesn’t even catch my eye while driving. I haven’t adjusted them at all either (via the dimmer) from how they came, I had to look really close to tell they were on lol

EDIT: I have 5000k Natural White. I’ll take a pic tonight

    From the Vleds site...
    • NIGHT MODE: This gives you an adjustable low output light when the door is closed and the parking or headlights are switched on. This drops the output to approximately 10LM on the lowest setting. If you want it brighter simply use the included screwdriver and turn it up to your liking.
So I assumed that they remained on in a dimmed state while driving.

You can dim them all the way to off. Right now mine are a little too bright at night. You need to have a extra person hold the door switch so they will be on when you adjust the brightness. I didn’t have anyone to help so I just turned it a little bit too much. I’m offshore now so I’ll get them adjusted right when I get back home next month. The lights don’t really bother me when driving but I’d rather have it darker anyway.

Yes. You can dim down to no light when door is closed if you like. When you open door they are full brightness.

When I adjusted mine all the way the lights turned completely off. They came preset from factory at the lowest light setting that lights are on. Beyond that they turn off. At least mine did. Now I wish I had just left the dimmer setting like it came. It’s pretty sensitive.
