My custom platform in place of the rear short seat is complete.

Usage is reserved for a cooler -- and eventually a fridge -- that will be strapped down to the rings at each corner. When not in use, the top can be used for storing other gear or simply as a table (roughly 18x24" of surface area). There's still plenty of space under the platform and dead space behind the old seat is no longer wasted.

The legs are 6061 aluminum and the top is UHMW plastic; stainless steel bolts hold everything together. The platform uses the OEM seat mounting bolts for maximum holding strength but also have an extra bolt for support.

As to why the brackets are large rectangle bars.. I'm going to be running wiring from the triple-battery setup in the bed through the corner of the cab near the platform ..plus they're beefy to support weight during offroad abuse. Wires will be neatly tucked inside the bars. Wiring will consist of power to the fridge, power to an inverter mounted on the bottom of the platform, and power to several USB charging ports.

Letting the wife sleep in and taking care of the baby this morning.

This is all in attempt to get her blessing to take a few hours and put my color match rear corners on today instead of doing "family stuff" haha. They've only been sitting in my basement for 6 months...

After 6 months, I finally got the chance to get these on! I wont lie to you guys, they were a complete pain in the ass for me. The clips were incredibly tough to get to. Oh well, they're done. I did have license plate light casualties though. I'll need help with that later...

Might try to get to plastidipping the 4x4 decal today too. Smoking the tails will be next sometime in the next few weeks.

Decided I'm going with a full debadge today rather than plastidip.

Now if the wife could just get back from her nail appointment...

Truck completely debadged and believe it or not, today was the first time she had a hand wash. I've always run it through the touchless wash.

I purchased the 3M Eraser Wheel to take off all the emblems. Thing is a lifesaver with the huge badges the tundras have. Would have taken hours by hand. I had them done in 30 minutes. She's soooooo clean looking now between that and the color matched corners.

Thanks! I've had this idea in my head for a while now. Lol my headlights will also have RGB and so will my rims and undercarriage. All will be color changing and I can program the pattern, speed, strobe, flash and brightness.

Awesome man thanks, I really appreciate. Truck btw looks fn awesome without the chrome badges and corner bumper. The wash don't hurt the looks either, but imo those small changes make for a much cleaner better look imo. Nice job, tire and offset looks great too. Bravo bravo brother.

True, I'll give u that, if there's 1 guy who's truck is built for it, it's probably his. Mine goes off-road but not like that, shit, if there ain't a couple feet extra of trail on both sides mine don't go. If I can't get thru without scratches from brush I won't do it unless I had to. That's what the can am is for. Mine spends too much time looking pretty on the street to put some big ass scratches down the side. But hey most guys who go into building a truck like that know going in and are ok with getting some pinstripes down the front corners and sides. That would break my heart lol. His truck is a beast and looks like it was made for it. I'm guessing he don't care about some pinstripes. Wish I didn't care so much but hey to each their own.
