I got my front window tint replaced today.
Finally got rid of the crappy dealer tint.
    The driver's side looks great.
The passenger side is full of watery bubbles and looks like specks of dirt between the glass and the film..
Obviously, 2 different people did each side.
They both looked ok when I picked it up.
Do these bubbles fade out after a few days?

    Alot of them
If they are tiny air bubbles they will disappear after a day or 2. Just park it in the sun...that will help too.

If you actually see specks or feel them with your fingernail …more than likely contamination …Removal and re-tints def require a lot of extra cleaning
Like @Tundra234 said …sun & a few days but if those areas don’t clear up …maybe ask for a redo on that glass

Mine had water bubbles for almost two weeks. They all went away and my tint turned out great. I had mine tinted on a really cold week. I even call the guy after the first week and he told me they would go away and to be patient. He was right. Hopefully yours will go away too.

Looks like a revised kit with the S2 being mounted from the inside instead of outside?

Im guessing there was some complaints of water seepage between the housing and S2 when mounted outside. I ended up using weatherstripping between the housing and lights... so far so good for the past 2 years.

I changed the oil, replaced the plastic filter housing out with the aluminum version and installed a Fumoto valve. Really liked the MotivX wrench and filter drain set up. Oil changes will be REALLY clean now.

Also, I attempted to rotate the tires, but learned that the lug nuts had swelled. Stupid two piece lug nuts are crap! I am waiting to hear back from the Dealer to see if they will replace them. I only have 25000 miles on this thing. This should not be a thing I should be dealing with.

Even IF Toyota does replaces them, I can't say that I trust them not to do the same thing in a couple years. I just don't feel like spending money on aftermarket lug nuts right now. I couldn't believe it when the Service advisor told me how much the OEM lug nuts cost.

List price on these things are $16.18ea. Sparks has them at 11.68 before the discount (still way too much IMHO).

Interesting, first I've heard of leaking. How's the seal on the for the bracket itself? The gasket looks good but I'll probably add some rtv inside just in case.

The gasket on the evilmfg housing itself is fine I didn't do anything to that, but its the section between the housing and the S2. There's very very very small gaps between it that a thin piece of paper and slide inbetween if you look at them carefully enough, then again this is me referring to the older/first version where the S2 mounts from the outside, not inside like yours. I saved myself the time and hassle with a little insurance anyways and applied weatherstripping between the S2 and the evilmfg housing.

Very cool photo, do you mind sharing the offset of those wheels? They appear to be the Method 305 but I can't quite tell the color either.

This was news to me as well. I had heard about troubles with 2 piece lugs, but not in regards to Toyota. Apparently, this has been a KNOWN issue for years. Toyota officially doesn't replace them under warranty, but my dealership is trying to get a "good will" replacement approved. I still haven't heard back from them on if it has gone through or not.

From the limited searching I've done, I have heard that Gorilla makes a good solid replacement. Here is a link to one I found. FWIW... I have know idea if this is a good vendor or not. I can also find Dorman, but I have seen MANY complaints that they turn to rust within 6 months.

Any input from others would be great. I'd like to avoid the spline version lug nuts. I like to keep my tools standard.

A bunch of the reviews on that show rusting. I'm up north and I'm very concerned about that here. I'm guessing you don't have to deal with a large amount of road salt in SC.

That said, I try to avoid buying from Amazon if I can.

Makes total sense. No road salt down here for sure, they use sand when we get snow once in a blue moon. Shut down the schools with only 1/16” accumulation!! Wish they did that when I was going to school in the Poconos!!

I did the same service this past weekend and ended up fouling the threads on one of my lug nuts after removing it. Luckily, I had some security lug nuts that I could use to get back on the road. My local stealership wanted $33 A PIECE for replacements. The Sparks price was more tolerable until they wanted $16 to ship a single lug nut. I ended up getting one from a dealer on Amazon (or at least i hope it is) for $18 with shipping....

We call that the "French toast crowd" at the grocery store. When you see everyone out buying Bread milk and eggs. There is probably a storm coming.

Sparks has good prices on stuff. But shipping is a bitch. Your lucky, I just went to their site and it says it wants to charge me $26.69 to ship ONE lug nut.

    $29.23 if I wanted to buy 16.

That's a big no from me.
