yes, if it is far enough away but if the fob is inside the truck and not disabled, the doors will not lock. When going hiking one time my wife left her purse in the center console and her spare fob was in there, when I went to lock doors with my fob it wouldn't lock until I disabled her fob.

Yep, but if it’s a hide-a-key, it wouldn’t go in the truck. That would defeat the purpose.

I would not hide a key on the truck unless it was in something like this. I need to mount mine still.

Where/how do you plan on mounting that? Some people have used those on trailers for raft shuttling. Unfortunately, they have to be mounted so they can be used and then they are visible to theives who can defeat them in a few seconds.

I have had a hide-a-key on all of my vehicles for the last 40+ years and if you place them properly they can not fall off and are almost impossible to find. It has never worried me.

I'm guessing you disabled the fob so anyone can't just walk up to your truck and....

Swapped out the tundra bed cleats for Tacoma ones. Black, more options for tie points, same weight rating of 220lbs and you don’t have to slide them all the way to ends of the bed rails to remove them.

The past week got tires rotated and balanced and an oil/filter change. Just clocked 60k miles on my 2016.

I have the OR package wheels, have been considering purchasing some aftermarket wheels that are a bit wider and bit less offset, but can't seem to find any I like. :monocle:

Crazy when you have the cash in hand for an upgrade/mod but can't find the item or part that you like enough to buy.

Used the Tundra to haul my Oldsmobile to the track today. Guy across from me had a 2022 Tundra, said he’s liking it for towing his car.

Went from the Roku HD to the Roku Express 4K. It was on sale for $29.00. The reason I changed it is because the Express has a stronger remote receiver. I put the HD under the dash below the glove box and it wouldn't pick up the remote unless I held it over the passenger seat and pointed it towards the floor. I stuck the Express inside the glove box and closed it and it still worked right through the door. So now the Express is mounted under the glove box and non-issues with it picking up the remote. I even gained the voice remote with the upgrade. We even have the Express mounted on the back of 2 TVs where you can't even see them. Roku made the signals alot strong on that model. I'll stick the HD on our TV at work.

Really nice 442! It appears that you may race it. Would you please share with us more details on the car and what you do with it such as race? I'm highly interested!

Glad you found one that worked better for ya. From what I saw online, the one you originally bought worked with ppl who installed the stick in their glove box. I guess Toyota makes extra stout glove boxes with infrared shielding lol

Used her. Picked up a new to us couch from a family friend, took our old one to the dump, and cut up two 40 ft felled trees and hauled home for splitting later. Will be the last week of these almost dead 35s....37s go on next week.

Maintenance day. Front, rear diffs and transfer case, and greased up U-joints. Then welded the cat protection back up. Rear diff and transfer case oil looked pretty good, front diff pretty nasty.
Also a pic of the new bumper for S&Gs.

Installed Diode Dynamics Elite series fog lights. I thought I would try these after putting the SS3 in the 4runner and Tacoma. Not a bad install but a few things that irked me. Toyota that fog light bezel sucks and there is no room for an average hand in there to work. As far as the fog lights the adjustment screws are a pain in the ass to get to with a small screwdriver. An adjustment screw like factory would have been nice. Minor issues for what is hopefully much improved fogs.
