Honestly, I'm thinking that the west coast trio is collaborating along the lines of @RainMan_PNW 's thoughts. Never waste an opportunity to exploit a natural disaster, even if it happened on the other side of the country

Do have stores there that give you gas points? In my area Weis and Giant grocery stores offer points with what you spend. You can put them towards gas or discount in store. Every little bit helps. I was complaining a lot when it went over $4.00. But $6.25 is crazy! :eek2: That only drives up prices on everything else to compensate the gas price rise.

Justin what was your deciding factor getting the Pioneer over the Kenwood? Even tho my arc audio sounds awesome with my DSR1 on the JBL headunit I’m looking more add the bigger screen and even getting a better sound with the aftermarket headunit.

I was told the Kenwood has a better interface than Pioneer. It seems the Pioneer relied heavily on the phones that connect to it to do all the work but the Kenwood allows for the interface to come from the in dash unit when not connected. In a nutshell that is how I understand it

Finished the FRAC install, also don't think I posted photos of the SR vents and radio surround I installed at the same time.

Measuring tape for reference, have maybe 3" of distance you can't see to the ground, also the high FOV makes it a bit hard to see the corners, but will just have to start using it and get a feel.

Annual firewood push. Had to use 4LO twice so as to not tear up my buddy's lawn.

FWIW, I'm sure the ATRAC is better that my Silverado's 4wd, but it definitely doesn't engage as quick or easy.

Lol...no, not free. My buddy works for the state so we get good prices on easy cordwood. When his hand heals we will be moving another 10ish cord in log lengths. Free wood is either huge, difficult, or crap. The wood at his shop is the easy button even if we have to pay.

We don't sell wood. We split about 5-10 cord a year based on how much we burn.

Just to give you an idea of the piles we average...everywhere you don't see grass in that picture was covered in wood less than a month ago. Where the pile is now, was bare ground from last years push.

Installed a switch-pro and build a power distribution box to hook everything up in. Still have to finish it out with a tray for it to sit in. Right now I just have it stuck down with double stick tape. When all finished it will be easy to left entire box off the top of fuse panel lid to access fuses. 6E887E51-3C6A-4362-BC84-37B14318AD80.jpg

Installed some Diode Dynamic ss3 pro pod ditch lights with Rago mounts BF0AC303-E5D7-4D40-A46A-C975FF540072.jpg and a DD 42” light bar. I fabricated heavy duty brackets and mounts for the 42” light bar since the one that comes with it doesn’t do that good of a job keeping it from rotating.

Another step closer in my SP9100 install - it's powered up but not hooked up to anything yet. I need to loom the wiring and do some routing cleanup, but need to finish the bumper first.

It was a lot of work but at least I have piece of mind that it’s not going to move. I over built mine like I do everything but it’s solid as it’s can be. I made the main hanger brackets out of thicker stainless and made the aluminum pieces with grooves and second screw slot so I could mound the hangers and slide the light on and off until I got the angle adjusted. I still had to unbolt hangers to mount light to brackets but it did make it easier getting light set to correct angle. I’m sure that there are simpler solutions for making light stay in place but I like to make things bomb proof as possible. I was told that Hotshot offroad is designing something that should be coming out in the next month or two. Diode Dynamics shouldn’t even sell that bracket that comes with the light. It’s just junk. I did trim the inside plastic around edge around the bumper to give me a little extra room and I milled the aluminum brackets a little thinner in the finished product but didn’t take any pictures. Bracket just need to have two screws on each end to stop it from moving. This could be done with bracket that came with light by drilling a second hole. From what I’ve read other have said that the brackets, that came with light, were not rigid enough for the weight of the light and would sag so I went with thicker brackets. Hope this gives you some ideas. Good luck.
