I picked up some molle panels from Bay Area Metal Fabrications late last year when they were on sale. They were made for a Tacoma. This weekend, I finally got around to figuring out how to mount them and coordinate with my Billie Bar brackets and the clamps for my tonneau. I ended up using part of the bar bracket and fabricating some drop down plates out of aluminum.

Finally got my cap installed. Still need to double check all bolts etc, but I broke down and bought a in-lb torque wrench...

@RobertD summed it up perfectly. I resealed the caps on the ends. Used GE 100% silicone, and ran a tiny bead between the aluminum and the rubber "seal" (both sides). Didn't touch the lens, but probably not a bad idea. Based on most reviews, they fail due to water intrusion more than anything.

TracRac bed rack, Retrax bedcover, Anytime forward facing camera, Rago dash mounting plate, changed all lights to LED with 1200lumen reverse light, added LED above tag reverse light, rear bumper step, Go Rhino step sides, CCM Cat Security Shield, tool mounts on bed rails, added tie down pad eye on bed rails.
Are those pieces of trim hard to get off? I’ve been thinking about trying my hand at wrapping some things.

They have plastic welds, have to remove the whole door panel, cut the welds off, do what you want to them, then reinstall and use some kind of adhesive to get it to stay back in place like a jb weld glue or something.

500-520 typically. Less after towing something, but shortly after it is right back up there.

Replaced the center console badge to get rid of the glare (last piece that gives off sun glare) and then changed the USA flag shifter sticker for a sepia version to better match interior.

Just pulled the trigger on Valhalla front & rear plates, 1/4” aluminum, powder coated red. Don’t know the delivery time yet but I will post some pics after the install.

Edit: Thanks for the “likes” because I was on the fence and this was definitely not in the budget. But this forum has never steered me wrong.

Not even gonna lie though, wifey is not happy. Keep telling her it’s cheap insurance…pound of prevention…etc.

Edit edit: Tyler replied…4-6 weeks delivery

Ok - I’ll quit bitching. :pout:

Seriously - that sucks. I’m running the same lights. Guess they must be a little hefty for the application.
