Not today but over the course of past three days, got my dream sound system installed. Kenwood Excelon Reference Series 1057 head unit, JL Audio package with two sail panels, JL Audio front and rear speakers, JL Audio 5 channel amp, and a box with two ten inch JL Audio woofers. In my younger days would have done the install myself but blown fuses and crossed over wires always did me in. I drove to Alma, GA for a one way seven hour road trip and met with @james@tech12volts and let his crew do the install. It was worth the trip and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. He let me drive his 2022 Tundra during the install, but I think I’ll stick with my 2.5 Gen. Will edit post with pictures tomorrow. Thanks again Tech12volt.
    As promised:

TracRac bed rack, Retrax bedcover, Anytime forward facing camera, Rago dash mounting plate, changed all lights to LED with 1200lumen reverse light, added LED above tag reverse light, rear bumper step, Go Rhino step sides, CCM Cat Security Shield, tool mounts on bed rails, added tie down pad eye on bed rails.
That’s what I was thinking about doing. Turned out really good.

If anyone needs an extended fuse cover for add a fuse's in the cabin fuse box location

Tundra Extended Fuse Cover V2 – MESO CUSTOMS LLC

I've had one on Tacoma for years and like it, I did have to make an extra notch as it doesn't fit every location situation. I've been using plug and play pigtail harness on the Tundra for all my after market switches (which I really like) but just if you need one.

    Too many, but not enough....
It addresses the weak point of the skids for 2WD trucks where you could still have some access to the rear cats with a saw.

The 2wd doesn't have the transfer case to fill that area and block access to the rear cats. Tyler designed this plate to block alot of that opening to make it more difficult.

Mostly done low-key practically invisible stuff to the truck since I got it late last year:

    Leer Cap
    Fumoto oil pan drain valve
    Metal Oil Filter housing
    8-inch flex antenna
Smartliner front and rear floor mats
    Weathertech stone and bug deflector
    Weathertech side window deflectors
    ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal
    ICS Fab Dash Mount
    Spray-in bed liner
    Drivers side grab handle
Total Chaos Fabrication 2007-2021 Tundra Rear Channel Bed Stiffeners TCF-48677
    Valhalla's Shield full skids
MESO Customs Dual color LED map lights
    Toytec Add - a - leaf
SOUTHERN-STYLE OFFROAD 2014-21 TUNDRA SLIMLINE HYBRID FRONT BUMPER

I will say though that the front bumper really hits a note for me and is this past week's addition.

Meh, wheels are a lower priority for me. I generally don't care unless they are damaged. But new tires is next.

My love and hate with a Black Truck. Looks so nice when it’s clean, but it’s hard to keep clean!

297928E0-4FCC-4EB4-BC63-FB3984518DAD.jpg Snagged a leather wrapped steering wheel to replace the urethane stock wheel from eBay. Donor truck was a 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro. I prefer the darker trim panels that house the switches to the stock metallic/silver whatever you want to call it. Was thinking of doing the AJT panels but this route accomplished both of my goals. I did have to swap my switches over to the new leather wheel as there’s one connector that plugs into the clock spring that didn’t fit. All in all a simple job. Loving the leather wheel!

@Beesta mine ranges anywhere from 500 to about 560 depending on driving habits.

Most folks that are lifted with RTTs and other stuff are getting like 440ish

You have a 38 gallon tank but really only about 32-33 usable gallons. Once you realize that, I have found the range number to make a lot more sense.

Follow up, if you run it down till it says empty (or less than 10mi left) how many gallons can you get in it?

If you run it to the point it stops giving a range and instead says "refuel" :anonymous:
You can put in about 33. You really don't want to run it more. The tank is physically big so you lose some across the lower portion, plus you don't want to suck up anything that has settled to the bottom.

I usually run it down to low double digits. 20ish and can rarely get it to put more than 28-29 gallons in
