Check the build link in my signature.
Everything but the $100 deductible. I need to go buy a new license plate - my front is mangled and apparently they will pay to replace that as well (meaning I've got to buy a new set).

Upgraded my awning from an old arb 6x8 roll out to a Tuff Stuff 270. Super fast to open/close, can be left unsupported in calm wind, and the build quality seems good. Pretty impressed for a "cheap" awning.

I had the BD Sports and they're amazing but the beam on the DD is better in my opinion...I ended up throwing the BDs on my wife's 4runner and have the DDs on the tundra...

Yeah, they aren't cheap but agree it's well worth the extra cost. I like them so much I've been trying to see if I can add these to the ARE camper for my old '98 Taco, but not successful so far as my top's too old. BTW, very nice job on your Tundra - looks great.

Thanks; We get some *ahem* weather up here between Thanksgiving and Easter and fogs are important. I had Morimoto's on my old (2014) that did ok in terms of output - better than stock, obviously- but need a little more output and amber to help cut through when the sheet gets thrown over the windshield.

Nice setup. Lots more room when you mount it up high like that. All my stuff is roof height or below so I can get in the garage.

So I decided to take a chance on the matte black overlays that are on Amazon. I received the radio surround trim overlays and the dash trim overlays.

PLEASE forgive how dusty my truck is...only cleaned the surfaces on which I was installing the overlays. Full detail is in my future very soon.

First, the radio surround trim overlay was easy to install. They will fit over the AJT 4x4 knob, but not the AJT vent rings. I had to pull them off and will trim down the ring "lips" so I can put the rings over the new overlay flat and flush. I'll post pics when I'm done. For those that don't have vent rings, the overlay does not fully cover the factory chrome rings (I painted the chrome black, don't have a pic of the exposed chrome, sorry). Also, the sides of the overlays do not completely cover the radio surround trim; silver is still exposed. Here's the link and some pics:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KXZ741X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

On the dash trim overlays, they were easy to install as well, and they're OK, other than the fact that they do not cover the ends of the trim inside the steering wheel well; "wood grain" exposed. They do though cover more of the exposed silver from the install of the radio surround trim overlay. Here's the link and the pics:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NBLFRL7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Overall I'm satisfied, in my opinion, still beats the time it would take to rip apart the dash to paint/replace the radio surround trim, and the risk of breaking clips, etc. and losing things during the process.

FYI, here are the links for the other three overlays I'm waiting on:

@Cthulhu how hard what the AJT vent rings to get back off? I have the dash covers sitting around…haven’t had the time to pull the rings off but there on good just wondered what you did to pull them?

I used a plastic trim removal tool. The adhesive AJT uses is some pretty potent stuff...you need to take your time so the ring doesn't crack/break if you're using the ring again.

Here's what I did to fit them back on. First pic shows where I trimmed down the outer and inner ring "lips" on the back side of the ring that cover the chrome, so the rings lay down flush on the new overlay. Hindsight I should've tried only trimming down the outer ring "lip" and kept the inner ring "lip" as-is, to cover the chrome. I painted the chrome black though so it doesn't bother me. Second pic shows the back view of the trimmed down ring on the left, front view on the right showing how it now lays flat. Third pic, finished product.
