@reywcms needs to get the old school TRD Pro lights with the black housing so he can still be with the CCC. LOL, eventually one day I’ll swap out the head lights to the TRD pro. Now it’s the old pro black housing with LED bulbs.

Can anyone confirm if these headlights look led? They’re from a 2018 tundra person says yes but want to confirm before I throw an offer at them.

 

Yes, those are the leds but have the chrome in the housing. That is how they differ from the Pro headlights that are all black. The output and function is the same.

 

Ask the seller to take a picture of the rear, I think it has the part#

 

Yes. OEM LED. Non pro (likely a platinum or limited or 1794 trim)

Finally got around to installing coach builder bumper shims. No more rubbing! Got my turning radius back.

Also installed victory 4x4 bed stiffeners. Prepping for a camper!

What size tires are you running? I'm curious if those bumper shims would be all I need to get rid of the rubbing from my 35's.

I installed my Mesos today.
I actually got them for Xmas, but just recently got my truck back..

I pulled the dome light fuse just in case.
I'd blown it before pulling halogens and installing LED bulbs.
My Phillips LED bulbs always ended up flickering and it drove me insane.
With the MESOs it doesn't matter which way you plug them in.

MESO has Youtubes for installing.

I removed and reinstalled the rear dome light to install it, literally just pulled it down.
But installed the map lights without removing the roof console thingy.....
Thingy is a technical term..

Took about 15 minutes because I had to sip beer in between the front and rear light installations.

I look forward to seeing it at night.

AJT Design has the replacements for these in several of the tundra factory colors for only $42 and free shipping. Worth every penny. I changed mine, perfect fit and finish.

 

I didn’t I just folded in the material and let it sit naturally but I may add a zip tie on the folded material. So far it doesn’t need it.

Picked up new rock sliders wooooot!!! Also got free powder coating because they didn't realize my order was a bare order.

Had enough of the glare off the shifter indicator on my way home. Followed the others and painted with matte clear. Also installed my smoked tails as the light smoke film on my stock tails wasn’t wearing well.

The Mesos look good at night, they light up the ENTIRE interior.
I tried to take pic with my iPhone but the pic looked crappy.

The red is bright, but it's more of a novelty.
I doubt I'll ever use the red LEDs.
Maybe when I valet just to freak the valet out..
Or maybe just to get on the wife's nerves..

I'm happy with the bright white light.
No regrets about buying them..
