Here’s some crash pics. It was a hard hit. Frame was slightly tweaked on right side. My Back Rack was bent too from the impact. Bed was moved closer to, but did not hit the cab.

I'm no insurance adjuster, but based on those pictures I would say the damage would definitely cost more than $2800 to fix.

I like a good deal when I find them, but for some reason a supercharger is just something I feel like a $2500 difference is just not worth it to do. Knowing that it will be on the engine and hoping it was taken care of and removed correctly, then how close is it to needing a rebuild or was the rebuild done correctly etc, are any other parts worn or could have an issue that could trigger a bigger engine issue etc.

Just a gamble I’m not willing to take to save a few bucks I guess.

I agree as well. I would rather have a new one. Same with cars.....I would never buy one that used to be a rental.

Thanks, I decided to do it after I drove my brother's truck that had them. Plus all the blind spots our trucks have.

Still ongoing. I still have to get the other party to cover my deductible and the extra month of rental coverage. And hopefully some diminished value funds.

Forward looking camera, Stub Antenna, 3M clearshield. A few other non lifted items.
I do not understand why someone would remove it after having it installed. There must be a problem imo.. I’d go new also because it probably has a warranty.
Maybe if they blew the engine or was in an accident, so they are parting out. I’d still buy new.

Because you only get money back from mods if you remove them and sell separately.

There’s quite a bit of staining and debris on that cooler for only 1k miles use. Smaller intake pipe is practically brown with dirt. Grain of salt is large with this one.

Come out to the high desert. Yours will look like that in 100 miles too. :) Without humidity to keep the dirt/dust down I have the same kind of look in no time.
