What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

hows it look so far? I’m debating on doing a few areas on the rig.

 

It looks okay. Im sure it will be plety durable for cat/skid plates. The toyota spray in bed liner seems more uniform. I just did the second coat, and it looks better. Personally, I would not run it on outwardly visible parts due to the texture.

Mix it don't shake it, definitely wear gloves, and it you're rolling it anywhere over your head, wear a disposable poncho. The little rubber "grippies" fly everywhere.

Did you buy paintable bumper caps or did they spray the chrome? Looks sick! Wish Barcelona was more available in aftermarket parts.

 

My buddy paints for a living. He had all the tools and skill, and was willing to help me out. Everything was sanded, primed and painted 3 coats barcelona then 2 coats clear. I've seen 3R3 for sale, so I'm sure you could DIY. It ain't cheap though, and no guarantee on color match.

Don't even know it's there, Ranger. We live in those exact roads right here.
I run Firestone Ride Rites @ 65lbs, Happijac mounts, and Michelin 10 plies. Solid as a rock.

Last week I loaded up with the boat ('17 Alumacraft full console) and did about 200 miles; got exactly 14 mpg, so not terrible.

 

Washed her up and primed, then color matched the SSC2 ditch light surrounds. Then cleared with 2K automotive clear.

Been working on building a coastal offroad bumper. Finished with welding today and now I'm in the "holy shit this is a lot of grinding" stage.

 

Took it on some dirt for the first time since I bought it a few weeks ago up a part of Skyline Drive here in Utah. Looks good a little dirty. Also saw some flowers and views. Overall nice little day trip.

 

I traded it in while the trade-in value is still ridiculous Just in time for my Westcott designs front lift to show up the next day.

NICE!!! I did mine this weekend.. love it and now laugh at toyota for not even doing this in the first place. I did the pass ones too. the pass front doesn't light up the lock/unlck button. not a big deal but would be nice to have them lit as well.

Went to the coast to see the in-laws. There’s a small roller kicker by the house. So did some urban droop testing. I’ll be hitting some dirt Wednesday afternoon.
