I couldn’t help myself and ordered a set of trd pro rims for my 2021 trd sport premium. Should be a perfect opportunity to throw some 285/75r18 duratracs on it.

Picked up a new set of n-fab nerf podium steps for 100 bucks!! Absolute steal since they are $450+ for new ones. Couple little scratches from sitting in the guys garage, but they’ve never been installed. Didn’t come with the mounting bolts so I’ll be shopping around for those.

Were the bolts @ the TRD skid Plate easy to access when installing this plate?

    Lots of shenanigans.
I would just go to your local hardware store and grab some. Hit up n-fab and see what size bolts they use then purchase them. It’ll be way cheaper then anywhere else.

Looks simple as just loosening the bolts and sliding the skid plate in. But for now, the TRD skid plate is still on my to-do list. (Got some other mods that have been sitting for too long)

Basically the same setup I'm running. Excellent choice. Before you install, or after, get some axle grease between the leafs. The pads that are installed don't stop the squeaking..windrock flex_LI.jpg

Good to know thanks. I’ve had OME leaf springs before on my Frontier and they squeaked non stop. Didn’t really bother me but the wife wasn’t happy haha.

Mine's doing the exact same thing, everything else is perfectly clean but the hitch is flaking and has a few spots of early rust.

Getting the truck back from the body shop. Excited to get back into a full size truck after driving truck jr. for a month (tacoma). A little nervous to see what kind of job they did.

Went to go to lunch and my battery finally gave out. August will be 5 yrs I've had my truck, bought it new, 1st battery I've had to put in it. Jumped it off and went straight to my dealership and bought another battery just like it. With my small discount I get, $147 lifetime warranty.

My nervous fears were valid. Lots of shoddy workmanship on the truck. Missing bits, overspray, rear door won’t unlock. Ugh. Why doesn’t anyone care anymore.

Dropped it off at agility customs for my suspension install today. With remodeling my house right now and me doing most the work, I decided to sit this one out

Body shop “repaired” some minor damage after my wife was sideswiped in my truck. The repairs suck. Paint match is decent, but everything else is just really poor workmanship. How does any of this pass inspection for delivery? Missing the door plug to the drivers handle. Overspray on the rear fender liner, guess it was too much trouble to remove. Dust everywhere on the truck inside and out. The rear door wouldn’t even unlock to open it. How did they check that? Camper shell was reinstalled crooked. Buffing compound lines in several spots on the panels. There’s a thumbnail gouge in a door that was perfect before I dropped it off.

My OCD is banging. Hard to be furious inside and try to remain calm. I’m sure no one was out to get me, but they sure made a pigs ear of this truck repair.

I brought the service manager out and went over all of the deficiencies. He was aw shucks and “we’ll Make it right”. He said I know my truck better than anyone and just let him know what needs to be fixed. F@CK you. This is your job. That you’re supposed to be an expert on. You’re telling me you can’t see any of this? Missing parts? The fact the rear door won’t open?!? They have a set of replacement running boards ordered that they will install once they come in. I will be dropping the truck back off for the repairs then. Need it for an upcoming trip anyways. Don’t really need the replacement running boards.

Other driver’s Insurance is paying for repairs.

Installed the warranty replacement Morimoto XB's. Nice bonus upgrade going from the Gen 1 to the Gen 2 at no cost to me.

Edit....warranty was for lens hazing. The new ones get clear film installed tomorrow.
