They’ve charged my card so I’m hoping they’ll be shipping soon. If I get mine in first I’ll update everyone.

I did it after work so I could only do half one day and half the other day but all in all I think it was about 4 hours maybe a bit more. Definetly did sweat a bit because they are very tight. So far we love the results.

Redid my 30” caliraised light bar

my dad Installed it years ago after i put one on my Tacoma and said it hasn’t it worked in a while when I bought it from him.

decided to look at it this morning. He used this toggles switch and the connections came loose.

I wired it to an OEM style switch and plugged the old hole with a dummy switch I had laying around and fit perfect.

Do you guys have a video for turn signals at night of Option A? Love the look, but I’m concerned at the size of the turn signal indicator.

This weekend I installed a Rago Fab dash mount (added a 12v power connector for my towing camera system... no more dangling wires!), center console switches (2 single and a double), blue sea fuse box and ran the wires from the switches to the engine bay. Man what a pain it was to get to that stupid nipple and clip it to run my wires through the firewall.

Next up, Rago ditch light brackets and the lights, plus an ARB dual compressor. Hopefully I get that stuff all installed this week.

I've had Option A for a couple months. The blinker is super bright, especially at night. I can see it illuminating behind my truck while I'm driving.

The rear turn signals are bright and I've also noticed other motorists that are in the adjacent lane by my bumper still see my turn signal on the side of the truck not just from the rear. Several times in traffic I've had people back off and let me in because they saw my signal. I can't express well enough how much I like the tail lights now!

Pulled the trigger on a set of matte gun metal RR7’s with black rings. I don’t know much about offsets but they were only available in a 0 offset so I hope that works well with my TRD sport. Still trying to figure out what tires and a leveling kit to go with.

Zero offset means they'll poke out a fair bit. Varies by application but some wind up needing to do a BMC, but I would bet at the very least you'll be needing to trim/remove mud flaps and splashguards/air deflectors. Tire size at that offset will play a big role.

Don't panic. I'm far from an expert. I just followed the general guidance that the "sweet spot" on these trucks for wheels is at about +25 offset, BUT that's only about an inch more tuck than what you're 0s are going to be. On 275/70R18 Falkens (run slightly larger than things like Nittos even if marked the same size) I had to remove the little splashguards under the front bumper and I have some very minor rub at full lock in reverse. You will probably have a little more molding/trimming to do, but these trucks are so individual that it might not be bad. I played it really conservative because I refused to do a BMC.

A bigger concern would be whether or not those wheels are hub centric or lug centric. You want hub for the Tundras.

And with 17s you have to make sure you'll have room for the brake calipers. Some 17s fit, some don't, and all of them require the balance weights to be placed where the calipers won't knock them off.

Edit: I just saw the group buy on the forum here. I would assume that the organizer of the buy did their research and you should be fine on these and the hub centric concerns. Still, doesn't hurt to ask.

their website says they are hub centric for the tundra.
I’ve also heard that +25 is the sweet spot, which is what attracted me to the SCS wheels but the availability is so limited and I really like the multi spoke look and removable rings on the RR7’s. Also they are really light weight Fingers crossed they don’t stick out a unsightly amount… maybe I’ll have to get some fender flares.

Honestly, with +25s I'm wishing I had gotten some low profile flares because of the rocks and such that have been kicked up. I have multiple self-inflicted dings because of the poke. I'd start looking for flares you like the look of now, just so that you know what you want if you decide to go that route.

Well , that answers my questions, ordering today. I had the volume down, but the next video played Zepplins’ When the Levee Breaks’, so I had to crank that beast of a song up even though it was 6 am out here.
