I don’t have the smart key. So for me it was flip fob or AJT.

Who did you go with and how is it so far? I had tried a stubby antenna which had great reviews, but the local stations were staticky. Ended up putting stock back on and was perfect again.

Finally got rid of the faux wood pieces inside my Limited. Looks way better IMO. The 3 overlays were bought on Amazon from company called High Flying Store. Perfect fit and color matched to other black OEM pieces.

Ended up just finding a random one on Amazon that I liked the look of. Haven't noticed any decrease in radio reception compared to the stock one, luckily :fingerscrossed:.

Got the arb mounted and wired. Needs some fine tuning to button it up. Also need to install these jerrycans.

Saturday mods, Round 1. I am about as far from an audio nerd as you can get but trust @james@tech12volts over the years and all I can say is wow. I could hear the voices in each song much clearer, I know that sounds like horseshit and I am not even sure I know exactly how to describe "better", but its better.

Broke in the 5.29 gears today.

Took a 40ish mile drive one way to my buddy's place then back. Obviously let the diffs cool down before heading back. Truck did about 2200 RPM at 75 mph. I can usually hear some exhaust sound in the cab going that speed but it was super quiet.

I'm on 35s but will upgrade to 37s or 38s on the next set of rubber.

The front gears whine/whistle on deceleration but my installer said he checked the pattern multiple times and it's good. Will do the 500 mile drain and fill when the time comes.

    Saturday mods Round 2.
I "downgraded" I guess you could say from the remote control airbag compressor system to the regular manual type system. Several issues over the years with dead batteries and battery acid eating the remote up, done. Not much to show cause all my controls and pump are in the swing Case you see.

I knew right from the start that I was going to have to do things a little different because I used the switch space between the 12v outlets long-ago.

First SNAFU I had was the big ass front bumper was eating up half the front cam screen every where I tested on the grill, SO I didn't mount it on the grill. lol.
    IMG_6893.jpg
    .
I am really happy with the end result and the quality of the build. Still a little pissy about the upcharge to finish the wiring, why have a fake low price. Just charge the full price and finish the build before shipping. I am 96% sure I would have had no issues with finishing the wiring but was 4% worried that I'd miss something and might screw the pouch.

Once they had it in their hands, they had a replacement sent out the next day. Was about 4 days shipping each way.

wishing I’d had my RAS installed before getting this load of gravel to test things out, but I’ll get another chance in a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow I need to swap my steps, finish the shed door, and do a bunch of yard cleanup from the snow storm a couple weeks ago (have to drop a tree that is almost leaning on the house and burn a ton of stuff). And get my bumper over to a friend’s so he can get it to the powder coater with his next load of brackets

Couple days ago a friend of mine helped me get the BMC done. Still need to coat and paint the bare metal.

I did the cuts and the finish grinding work. He did the welding.

Came out pretty good for a couple of amateurs. Amazing what can be done post-weld with a grinder.

So originally this arb kit was the in case mobile version. Some tweaking was needed to make it permanent but nothing major. The mount itself is from desert does it. You’ll need to move some of the underseat wiring around but once that’s done there’s room.
