I like all of the Toys as they all provide different uses and fun times. I think I’ve got about a year with the Taco before I have to really decide. The bride can drive the Tundra easy but she likes the 4runner. If she’s in that and I want to go scout sites or camp while she’s working, I need the Taco/6ft bed. It’s all set up for overlanding. It’s also nice she doesn’t mind driving the 5speed manual if the 4runner needs a shakedown wilderness trip. The wife only likes camping in a camper now.

Installed TC Bed stiffeners (thanks @TundraRV!) today and also dumped the exhaust right after the axle.

Took less than 5 minutes. The sawzall kept walking, but once it caught, it cut like butter. Took a flap disc to it to round the edges!!!

No change at all. Same as if it were to dump after the rear passenger tire.

Installed the seat jackers on both front seats. Thank you @RusPro21

I haven't driven the truck with them installed yet, however, the seats are more comfortable to me. I did have to move the driver's seat forward a bit to comfortably reach the pedals. Now we wait and see what the wife thinks of them. Just for reference, I am 6'0" tall with a 34" inseam while my wife is 5'2" with a 30" inseam.
I will update y'all as soon as I know more.

A local shop near me does descaling for around $300 on average (depends on the extent of rust) and then will coat with fluid film for $350 if you want the decent middle of the road coating ($600 high end package, $150 low end). $650 plus $1850 is incredibly high in my opinion.

All these plates and no real skids....
Will that one support the truck if it needs to?

RCI is coming out with bolt on extension plates to add to their tranny skid to cover the cats. I don't know how much coverage RCI provides for the rear cats though.

You need some of this, https://cbioffroadfab.com/product/toyota-tundra-full-overland-skid-plate-set-2/. Pretty close to a full belly skid for the front half of the truck . Not quite as much coverage as the two Valhalla plates together though :notsure:

Finally added puddle lights to my OEM tow mirrors with the help of @VTYOTA's tutorial  I've had a pair of amber Rigid hi-power A-series lights since last summer that I've wanted to use. I rewired my roof rack scene lights to the cargo light circuit a couple weeks ago which set me up for easier access for these.

I'll post some extra pics of install in the tutorial thread tomorrow.
