Usually in CA they only probe 99 and older vehicles, anything 2000 and newer just gets the ODB test.
I've been happy with my Borla TRD exhaust, to the point where I haven't cut the tips off yet. So it was quieter when you had it dump at the axel, I would have thought it was the other way around.

BTW your truck looks fantastic, very unique color for a Tundra.

Thanks! Yep, I thought it would be louder as well, not the case. The smog dude gave me that info when took my older truck into the shop, leading me to believe it was for all trucks. My misunderstanding led me to put the tips on, but I’m happy with them back on.

For mulch 1 yard would be easy. 1 yard easily fits in the bed it just squats quite a lot with a yard of dirt, but I'm sure mulch would be roughly at max payload with 1 yard.

Considering putting the Diode Dynamics SS3 LED Fog Lights on my wishlist (since I don't really have the need for a true lightbar... yet).

I'm having a hard time finding a consensus though - it seems like everyone goes with the 'Pro' model, but there's also a 'Max' for ~$200 more. Is that worth it? Do you get $200 more light out of it or would the Pros be a much better light/cost ratio?

I put my cabin filter in today. Old one was a little dirty. Last week I checked it and had to get a flashlight to see. When I lifted the console lid to get the flashlight, corn kernels fell from the lid hinge area. (Confused, yes) Today was the same. So I took the lid apart to find more corn. No holes chewed anywhere in console. How would a rodent get in there? We do have a squirrel feeder near by. Might have a smart squirrel that knows how to get in the truck and open the lid to stash his food. Then close the lid when done. I’m sure confused.7E160C76-9443-43C3-8411-DDA57E6EDCEA.jpg 8FF85773-7199-4974-9CF1-4ED72E85D9EC.jpgC68411AC-9A2C-467C-998C-BC9FF1CF10EF.jpg

That would most likely be from a rodent. Rats can squeeze through a hole as small as a dime.

Drove on the highway today and I think it was quieter and the bass was better. However I didn't do a true before and after because this was unplanned. Hopefully I'm not imagining it

Or at least outside the truck. I hate the spring traps. I had to set one years ago when the neighbor tore down an old shed. I set it and as soon as I let go that sob went off and got my finger. I made my.own swear words...hurt like a mofo.

I can take a crack at it :D
Put simply, the pro is the better cost/performance value, especially if you're going yellow.

The yellow lens on the max is darker than the yellow lens on the pro/sport lights so there is more loss as the light is bent to the correct color temperature. The reason for this is due to the fact that the LED chips used in the SS3 max only come in 6000k output color whereas DD is able to get a 4000k chip into the pro/sports.

Why I personally like the max (aside from just wanting the best) is that it has a sharper cutoff than the pros which I prefer when the conditions break down. Both are excellent performers either way.

Use the search feature and look for rodent or mice. They get in along the firewall on the the passenger side below the wiper. Lots of photos on how to install wire mesh to keep them out. Put a few traps under the hood in the meantime.

pretty proud of myself (rookie auto diyer)! Figured it was a fun little ice breaker project and there’s another 12v right there. Just to confirm red is positive and white with black stripe negative?

Also anyone know what this plug is behind dummy plate?

    Any suggestions on models, etc?

Those are ajt, they replace the original chrome/silver pieces, you can also buy some from meso customs that look more like the oem style without rivet’s but are black as well. Both are just online websites.

Well did the water bottle holder mod and then screwed up installing the meso inserts. I tried to go slow with the drilling but went to far and now I have 2 holes in the console.

Installed 2019 TRD Pro OEM LED headlights on the G-wagon. Can’t wait to drive with them at night. Already lit up the garage door (where I aligned them) way more. Very special thank you to @iHacker and his fine wiring products, advice, and answers to my questions.

    Didn’t do a hi-beam shot because I wasn’t shooting night/performance shots.
Also had a minor heart attack when I got both lights in place before I reattached the grille (and reconnected the TSS plug). I just wanted to check to make sure I connected everything properly before I put the grille back. The message center was flashing “go to the dealer, TSS faulty / failure” or whatever. Reconnected it and everything was fine.
