Good lord…. I need to see what’s up with mine lol. Don’t know why so long. I mean, I get it if you order some stuff that’s on back order. Hell, even if they are super busy. I know the discount was good for a lot of people on some big/expensive items but for me….. I just got some black ac vents and wiper blades lol. Yes, I saved a few dollars but I know that I could find another dealer that was close to matching prices or even my locals. You can get free shipping just about and day of the week online from dealers ( if you know how ) lol. Thought I could a couple bucks but would gladly have spent a little more to have them by now. End of personal rant ha.

Before I ordered I called them to make sure they would ship items like the new grill. It wasn’t an issue shipping them, but he told my straight up that it would be at least 3 weeks from the time I ordered until it shipped approximately. After a week +/- I got an order update email but not status change on my order per their website. After a few days I emailed Eric and he said the order status change email happens when he prints the orders and said it’s still about 2 weeks out until it ships due to the overwhelming orders they received. I saved over $600 on my order so I’m being patient and hoping nothing is damaged in transit. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very anxious to get my order too.

That’s what I’m talking about. For you, that’s an AWSOME deal and savings. That is hard to beat. I would have done the exact same thing if I hadn’t already done that. I would be anxious as well if I was you. And lord help you that it’s not damaged. Good grief that would be a pain to deal with. I just saw people buying and yes it is a great rare sale. I just was thinking of wtf to buy and didn’t think it was going to be like this. Is what it is lol. Post pics when you get it and have it installed!

    1. Added Desert Does it front Seat Jackers to better support thighs of my 6'9" 350lb body. Worth every penny, huge increase in thigh support and comfort!!! I was beginning to think I made a mistake selling my '17 F150 (which had tons of room and great ergonomics) and going to the Tundra, but this 1" change in seat angle made all the difference.

    https://desertdoesit.com/products/tundra-front-seat-jackers

    2. ***Bracing for Dirty Deeds plugs... Yes I have spoken to Keith, I wanted to go with him, but this was a cost based decision / gamble***

Did a TRD muffler delete and went strait pipe true duals (kept the cats) all the way back to TRD Exhaust tips. Too raspy, and a little too loud for my taste. Paid $80 to have my local muffler shop cut and weld in new 2.25" pipe so less than a tank of gas hahaha. Went this route (not unbolt entire system to sell it private party) to preserve the flanges of the tailpipes and manifold pipes for fit up of a Dirty Deeds system as a BACKUP if this custom exhaust plan doesn't pan out.

Last ditch attempt before shelling out for Dirty Deeds is add an X-pipe and two small resonators next week to balance the banks to address choppiness / rasp of the exhaust (volume is fantastic, maybe even a tad too loud, doesn't drone too bad at all in current state with adult driving). Its a gamble, but parts and install for the x-pipe and resonator will be $300, $380 for the strait pipe experiment.

I have noticed efficiency increase without the muffler. Truck idles at 600rpm versus 800rpm, and cruises at 1250rpm versus 1500rpm at 55. Does feel less torquey however. Hoping x-pipe will help with that.

Fingers crossed I like the sound. If not, I had all work done between the flanges from the headers and TRD tailpipes so I can just buy the TRD Replacement system from Keith if this doesn't work out.

Pics upon request if anyone cares

Long story, but I'll try to keep it quick and simple. My supercharger was installed just over 2 years ago and about 7-8 months in started to get some crusty coolant buildup on the crossover pipe that was supplied with the kit from Magnuson. It was never a leak as in fluid running down, just a lot of build up. I had Toyota look at it once while I was there for an oil change. They removed the hose from the crossover pipe, cleaned it all up, and reassembled ensuring the hose was on tight for a $300 fee. A few weeks later it continued getting build up again around the hose/pipe. Next oil change Toyota peeked at it again and said there must be a hairline crack in the nipple of the pipe where the hose slides over causing the issue.

I contacted Magnuson about a warranty claim and they advised me to swap the factory style clamp to a worm style clamp and that should take care of the issue because the pipes rarely ever fail. I pulled the hose and swapped the clamp myself maybe a month ago and checked it about a week after replacing the clamp...bone dry. The following week I checked it again and had the same problem with the buildup. Emailed new pictures to Magnuson with the worm clamp installed and they said they would warranty it and shipped me a new crossover pipe a few days later.

I made my appointment with Westcott Designs to get some work done and also have them install the new crossover pipe (I trust their work in this space over Toyota's). They also said the crossover pipes rarely go bad. Before replacing the pipe they did a pressure test on the system and spotted a small leak on one of the smaller coolant lines that runs into the throttle body. The other hose I had problems with checked out fine.

What happened is that when I went to swap the hose clamp on the hose to the crossover pipe I disconnected the two smaller lines running to the throttle body to gain easier access. I fixed the original leak with the worm clamp (the pipe must have been good), but in the process the smaller line to the throttle body didn't quite seal and started to leak a tiny bit. The coolant from that hose ran down right into the same area I had coolant buildup from the other hose so I assumed it was still leaking when in fact it was now coming from up above on the smaller hose. They swapped the factory style clamp on the throttle body hose to a worm clamp and tightened it up. No more leaks.

So to sum it up, the leaks (both) were from the factory style clamps not getting a tight enough seal.
