Nice. Just bought the previous gen a few months back and didnt know about these. Might have to upgrade again!

 

I was looking at the previous Gen back in Dec and saw these new Gen but they're only available as pre-orders.
Ive been checking since January when they're going to be available and AlphaRex finally released them last week or early this week.

 

Bro! That's the mother trucking truth right there. Had a brake light out and took me 3 weeks just to find the time to get to it. Washing my truck properly takes 2-3 weeks of planning to get the time needed. I have plans for my dash as well. But time wise it's gonna be a while.

 

Totally agree as well! With a 2.5 year old and a 3 month old, every project takes much longer. But luckily my oldest daughter loves the truck so getting her to spend time with me while I tinker makes it a little easier lol.

Its an Inferno truck so he has been adding inferno/orange to the interior

I painted mine flat black check out build. The orange is my daughter’s thing for her Grey truck. They stick out like a sore thumb. It what she wants so it’s her truck!!!!!!

 

I have sent messages to all that make cover pieces and asked that we need black pieces!!??? They are looking into it. Also ask the guy that sells these things and he talked to the company in China or Japan where they are made.

Thanks ! I checked it out and sounds like you had a battle with them to get them to stick but the end result looks really good.

 

Will be using the compound cement to make sure they stick on the daughter’s truck tomorrow. Has been a learning experience for sure.

That would have been to easy! I could not get anything to stick to the silver pieces, and I could not get anything to stick to the door panels no matter how hard or what I used to clean everything!!! It was a royal PITA!!! Then do not get me started on Fluorescent paint! That stuff is weird too. Even painting the red ones Flat Black was not a simple process! It was not as simple and easy as some have had it? In Texas it gets hot hot hot and there was no way double sided tape would do it and although vinyl wrap seemed to stick I did not want to take that chance. I know what is on there now and I know (or at least hope) the paint to stick?

 

I hear ya! I don't know what is on those silver pieces, but I had one hell of a time trying to get my vinyl decals to stick. I was dumbfounded
