Is that the main shield option or their ultimate protection? ($199 extra)

Did a 2 step paint correction with chemical guys compound and polish. I bought my truck used and it had a bunch of swirl marks all over the truck, I got rid of most of it you have to really be looking for imperfections to see anything. It took me a total of 12 hours, split into 3 sessions.

It might be. I’m not sure if the center cluster changed on the 2018

This is Cat Security’s main shield plus the rear cat protector. (+199) free shipping and military discount offered.
Comes with complete stainless hardware including security bolts and clear instruction sheet. 1/8” and 3/16” options. I ordered the 1/8 and feel as a deterrent that it is stout enough. Rep when I called said the 3/16 is liked by the serious off roaders as skid protection also. The rear plate does leave the rear of the aft cats somewhat exposed. Hopefully the rat bastard that crawls under there will see the work involved to get at the rest and move on. I received the kit within 10 days of placing the order and install was maybe 90 minutes taking my time. Two thumbs up.

I have the switch installed but am not sure which wire goes into which pin hole...there is a blue and yellow wire coming from the mirror...there are two spots from the stock wiring harness i can tap into...also do you know what type of connector fits into that particular harness?

    Busy day!!!

Removed SR5 emblems. Need to get clay bar to remove remnants.

Painted the cats a bright red. Tried etching last 6 of VIN but the $7 engraver sucks. (Ordered the Cat Security plates).

Replaced rear chrome bumper end caps. Ordered some gloss black powder coated ones off eBay. Black is super forgiving. Can’t even tell it’s not Attitude Black.

Added color match hood bulge and TRD Pro grill.

Added TRD Pro black headlights (used ihacker harnesses for easy install).

I inquired about one at my local place. $900 seem reasonable? Tunes in my past vehicles have been like $200

What’s the advantages of ceramic window tint vs non-ceramic window tint? Getting ready to do mine.

The ceramic reflects a ton of heat (from what I hear) so if you leave somewhere hot and or sunny, getting a clear coat on your windshield and your other windows tinted reduces the heat in the cab by a lot. I live in Texas and learned about ceramic tint about 2 months after getting regular tint... it was about 150-200 more to do ceramic and it would have been 100% worth it.

Ceramic blocks heat better. You can actually get clear ceramic tint that will block better than some of the darkened non ceramic. Downside to ceramic is it can interfere with things like cell signal.

Really? I hadn't heard that about the cell signal. Is this just for window tint or also for ceramic coating on your paint?

OOPS! My brain crossed the wires. Ceramic DOES NOT interfere. It was some of the metallic tints that do. They were better at heat deflection than regular tint, but ceramic gets the same bonus without the signal mess.

4 years ago I had my 2015 CM done with EXPEL PLUS PRO ceramic tint on all 6 windows (70% on front windshield) and also had them put it on my new head light housings as I just bought the 2019 LED ones, it prevents sun fade. The ceramic blocks 98% of radiant heat, the darkness of your tint does not dictate how much heat will be kept in or out. It is the material that does. Pay the extra money and get ceramic if you live in hot areas. I am in Arizona.

HD. I don’t tow, but I often haul heavy cargo long distances. Hoping the RAS will reduce the sag when loaded.

A buddy got a hunting lease 4.5 hours south, so we decided to go scout 400 of the 700 acres to see where he may want to set up a blind, feeders, and game cams. There were several old blinds, but the structural stability was questionable on a few. Also several oil pump sites, so there were some nicer gravel paths. There were several large berms to act as a back stop to shoot into from 100 yards to 1100 yards.
I added a few pin stripes to the truck while driving several of the hunting trails.
