Finally the lift has begun! Will work on the rear 1.5” inch lift shackles and Coachbuilder bushings tomorrow. Got a serious Cali Bro lean for the night. Still working on what I’m going to do for rear shocks and saving up the money. Will be skipping leg day for a while though. Still a fair amount of tread left on tires and other mod priorities first (rear shocks, winch, skid plate). This took longer than I thought today and I’m beat!

Only half day? There are people on here that have been driving a rental longer than their own truck waiting for replacement cats

Thank you sir! I got them from Mr Wheel Deal. Had great experiences with them in the past, had them ceramic coat the wheels also.

That was one of the things my wife let me do before moving in, definitely harder than I thought it would be but absolutely worth it :)

Yup, one in the kick panel and one behind the dash, different brands. That's why I have the ground for the remote start right there, no need for extra holes. They are installed by subcontractors at the dealership and they try to roll them into the price when you buy the vehicle. They don't remove them if you don't purchase them. Once upon a time I was one of the subcontractors. The very first thing I did when I got my truck home was search for anything aftermarket and get it pulled out.

I recently bought a 12k winch and a cradle that goes in the trailer hitch. I can use it on the Tundra or on my flatbed trailer. I ran the 2 gauge cable today. I drilled and tapped a #10 screw to hold the plug in place and packed the connector with fluid film.

That's insane that the dealer would spend money installing two GPS tracking, hoping they will be able to sell them. That makes no sense and sketch as hell that they can track people through those

Well, with a 38-gallon tank, and the prices I just saw in California, it would be $228...

Moved it 20ft. in the driveway to let the snow melt off. Winter almost over, excited to take the Tundra on MTB trips soon!

I like the look. Is that where the airbag deploys from though? Wouldn't want someone to get hit with those if the bags do go off.

Edit: Just did some research, the airbag comes out from the top of the dash, so no problem there .
