Perhaps when that airbag deploys the handle comes loose and becomes a projectile?

I'll look into this, thank you. I tried the AlienGear hook-and-loop last year and the Texas heat melted the glue. I thought about riveting the hook-side to the console... Might revisit that. I'm also considering the Rago molle panel that goes right there. Meantime a little chalk bag and non-destructive mod to hang it seems like a quick fix. Having the LCP rattle around in the console organizer is starting to wear thin.

Slowly completing the interior blackout. Finished up the door panels last week. Tried wrapping the silver pieces, but the corners were too tight for my skills. Painted them and shot clear matte over them. Total PITA to remove and reinstall, but I like the look.

    Completed:
    Meso Chrome Delete
    TRD Black Shift Knob
    Black door handles
Painted black A/C control and vent rings
    Steering wheel emblem cover
    AJT Black Steering wheel trim

    Not completed:
Waiting for black OEM center radio trim to show up.

I hit mine with black nail polish. Worked like a charm. I’m gonna do the ignition next. You can’t mess it up because you can remove it if needed.

I painted the start button trim ring with SEM trim black, and it looked really great. Until my nail hit the same spot too many times. I'm going to remember this.

Nice I wrapped mines and yes it’s a PITA but I just cut over and tucked them under so you see no chrome

I said I wasn't going to do the door trim, nope you're not convincing me! :annoyed: :D

Looks good! I wasn't a fan of how it would be to remove the trim part, but seeing it done makes me rethink doing it. I also never realized the Platinum has the different upper inserts in the doors. I do like the passenger side dash stitched insert though.

    Lots.
Added a 3 gallon air tank to my onboard air system.

Note: The aspect of the picture makes it look closer to the muffler than it actually is. I had to install it as far aft under the truck as possible to allow access to the drain cock because I am about to install my Valhalla's Shield Cat Plates which would have made that difficult further forward.
