What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

nah - it’s a BAMF Lo Pro RTT rack. So with a roof top tent on there its level with the cabin.

 

I got a pedal commander last week. Tried it out for the week and decided it wasn't worth the 300 so I sent it back. It's a fun toy but just not worth 300 IMO.

Funny I almost returned the truck till I installed the pedal commander. Total game changer IMO

 

i felt that way and did the same thing in my 21 4Runner.

Some of us drive the truck for other reasons. IMO if I want more responsiveness and agility I drive my Yaris, no kidding. That little hopper is pretty responsive. The Tundra shines for me when it comes to the balance of reliability, comfort and strength. Other trucks are lacking one or more of those three.
I drive all three, Tundra, Yaris, Corolla and I must say, the Corolla is the lamest of them. I drove the Tundra in Tow Haul and i don't like it even for level land towing. I use it only when pulling extra heavy or going up or down hills towing.

 

Smart handles did not come into play until 2020. My truck still has keyed ignition switch.

Ironman 4x4 raid series bumper

 

Installed my Swing Cases today. Probably one of the easiest installs I've done in a while. Once I read the instructions and had the tools ready, it was all of 15 minutes.

A T40 bit removes the tie down. I hit the spot with some rustoleum rust converter, not because there was any rust, just to coat it for a little piece of mind since the bracket covers the spot.



The bracket sits flush and is installed using self-tapping screws. Boot holds bracket tight.



Four main screws and two at the opposite end of the bracket.



Hang the boxes and you're done. I filled them with range supplies and t-post target hangers, about 20-25lbs each, no issues. Allowed me to move from boxes in the bed to recapturing the bed while using the space around the wheel wells.

 

I wish they weren't so expensive. Those things never go on sale.

I have the ICS Plate underneath and that baby does not budge with an iPad and a phone on it using Ram arms. I forget what they cost but if you are having rattling - I would give it a shot. I do have the ICS Dash mount though.

Buddy is going to outclass me with his sliding drawer cabinets, but I still haul stuff in the bed so this was the right solution for me.

 

Lol! Just press the gas pedal harder man. HikeIt basically is the same thing and is about half the cost.

 

Nah, I like having multiple drive mode option. And tow haul does not work the same as the Pedal Commander as many other user have noted on the forum.

 

Anyone obtained the color matched door handles off ebay ? How close are they and worth the money or should i overpay for the sparks ones

 

Me personally I'm not a fan of ebay parts on a 40K plus truck....that's just me though.
