Couldn’t stand the stock plastic TRD Pro wheel. Leather wrapped Tacoma wheel and it already had dark trim. I guess I’ll be selling my Ajt trim that I just bought.

 

I guess I should of been more clear. I believe it's 3 inches or less. But I'm not a suspension expert and It's a rats nest of opinions when you start searching. I was just quoting the sites "general consensus" based off my fairly lengthy investigation into the subject.

Most definitely. I have a Decked box full of tools with tools on top of the decked box.
Rides like a caddy.

It’s more stable, more planted and even though I pushed it before, feels like it’s much more upright and tight in corners.

*This is only after one day of install. However, the ride was improved enough for me to take the scenic route home.

I have looked at the same remote start kit. How hard was it to install and do you like it?

I did my first oil change today since I’ve owned the truck. Swapped the plastic filter housing out for the metal one, added a fumoto valve and cut out a 4.5” hole in the stock skid for filter access. Should make next time a bit easier.

 

I followed along on a YouTube video and I had it installed in 30-45 minutes I’d say. The usual annoyance of dealing with plastic dash panels and clips is to be expected. The hardest part was fishing the wire that has to go across from the drivers side to passenger side under the dash for the TPMS connection. I used a coat hanger and taped the harness on to pull it across. So far I’m very happy with how it works.

 

Let us know how the install was and how you like it. I want to get this too since i drive around fully loaded alot with the fam. Just waiting on a sale or a discount code to pop up lol.

 

I like the cut out for the oil filter access. What is the best way to locate the hole to center it on the filter housing? Is 4.5" large enough or would you have made it larger?

 

Slow day at work so I finished painting the emblems, door handles and mirror caps black. Love the look of this now.

I haven’t done anything to my tundra in some time but I pulled the trigger on some interior upgrades, I might be getting scammed on a steering wheel though…
