What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Got some dirt therapy in, new UCAs are working killer.
Received my Rotopax gas and water canisters, hoping to fab up the mounts today.
Painted up the grille spotlights to match and installed some bedlights.

 

Pimp, Geno. Pimp. No doubt one of my favorite Tundras.

I really like the headlights. Better than stock. However, they are not as good of output / pattern than my Tacoma OEM LED pros. Maybe having my Tacoma ones for a few years I went into it with the same expectations, but they are still great.

is there a gear selector harness to remove when taking out the shift gate piece?

Nope! Just the four clips, two on each side. Pops right off very easily. I like to do research on my mods before install to include reading instructions but since there were none for this I went in a bit blind. Turned out ok though because it was easy to remove.

Nice! I broke the tab on my drivers side tail light doing that... I used a 2 part epoxy to reattach it and it's been holding on strong for a year now. But I know what's going to happen the next time I need to remove it lol. Try to be gentle with them

 

So turns out this Chrysler(yuck) color matches my tundra almost perfectly!

I put them back in for the pic and forgot to hook up my reverse bar so had to take them back off again

 

Adjustment is super easy. Why not do it right?
The knob in the cab is supposed to be used when you’re loaded down.

 

Could you build this thing on the ground? Or is it necessary to build it mounted to the vehicle?
I was involved in a front end collision and thinking this will be replacing my ADD bumper but I won’t have my truck since it’ll be at the body shop

 

That's a great price, I've been looking for some TRD wheels either like these or the all black and can never find any locally.

 

I purchased the boot from Redline. There is a plastic bottom piece that I slipped the boot through that clips to the shifter. I got the plastic piece from @Trailbreaker from his Etsy account. Go to the shifter boot mod thread and you can get all the details.

So, the shift gate trim. I have a pair of wire cutters but they were a bit too big to get the plastic welds off in the smaller spaces. I used a small dremel file to get the heads off. Worked perfect and fast. Only drill the heads off, not all the way down. You need and or want some of the stem to attach the new piece.

 

Honestly I’m not sure. That or ranch hand? My dad put it on when he bought it. Still debating if I want to keep it long term. For now, it will stay. It has been growing on me

 

Spent some time today on a couple projects. Installed a JLT oil separator, and a StartX remote start I received as a Birthday present. God forbid you want to remove a hose from the oil separator once it’s on there, if you want it off you have to cut it with a razor! My fingers are tired from today projects, but I’m glad they’re done and everything works.

 

I'm changing mine also but just repainting

 

Took on this little project this morning it was quite the walk park with five cups of coffee in me and four hours later I finely got it done and over with today. Here's the results
