yep, a leer 180. Had a pop up camper on my previous Tacoma and liking the simplicity of the 6.5 bed and a shell.

All these Meso lights posts have me jealous.... How long would you all wait before reaching out to Meso Customs a second time about a most likely lost package? My lights have been sitting at the post office in CA since they dropped them off on January 11 (according to tracking info). Looks like they haven't moved. I emailed Meso last Wednesday but no response. I'd send a second message but they have requests all over their emails and website asking not to send multiple messages about the same problem.

That’s a PO problem. Go to your local PO with the tracking number and let them know they’re in the process of dropping the ball.

@WawaLunar have you contacted the Post Office? I would start there I have had packages sit awhile before moving and contacted the PO and it got things moving again. If no success there I would message Meso again and let them know you tried that already. My 02 cents.

After looking at all the aftermarket tail light options I finally decided to just try to customize the one part of the OEM tails I didn't like. Masked off the clear section on the sides with the chrome bars underneath – used some 1500 grit sand paper with water to prep the surface, 3 coats of VHT Nite-Shades Red (15 min apart), then 2 coats of gloss clear enamel (a few minutes apart). ~$25 and I am really happy with the result. Still have OEM look and fit plus I can change out bulbs (which I just ordered) anytime.

    Looks amazing!

I've been thinking of doing something similar with just some smoked transparent vinyl in that same section.

lol, Nice. damn, as much as I like the smoked looked, that red looks a lot more sleek and OEM looking. The vinyl looks a bit too out of place and breaks up the tail light a bit too much.

Thank you for that, something for me to consider

I guess I'll be the odd one here. You paid for a product and it is the responsibility of the seller to deliver the product. If the carrier they use, fails, the seller is still responsible for delivering the product. I would give them a day or so, but if no response, I would call or email again and If still no response, I would contact my CC as needed.
I have been dealing with issues from the post office for years and COVID is their new excuse. Good luck getting any help from them. It is like talking to wall and will not do any good.

Sticker looks good too. I know some folks think it makes the truck look like a sofa when everything is color matched, but there's enough different colors to break it up. I like 'em.

If you want, you could message him on Tacomaworld. I know not ideal but he is pretty active there and or send another ticket on the website. He'll get you taken care of one way or another.

That sucks. I will say his customer service is top notch though from my experience. I had a problem with his flip fob that I bought when it first came out. He sent multiple replacement parts & responded to all emails within a day usually. Good luck!

Several good aftermarkets tail lights are available, but maybe not to the quality level of Morimotos (which I still don't think are out yet for our Tundras). I hear good things about HIREVS and RECONS too. I bought Spyders because I wanted a darker red, they were reasonably priced, and thought they looked closer to OEM than most others. They have been great so far:

Love this! I bought a second pair of tail lights and was going to try and cut them open to paint that silver part black inside the lens but looked like a lot of work. This would be easy and a nearly as good solution. Thanks!
