Installed my chrome delete kit last week and the door handles are great. Survived the crazy kids yanking on them. Only thing I noticed that's weird is a slight clicking when closing the handle all the way.

I've only been using mine for a couple of days but have had no issues with my key fob's functionality. I hit the open and the doors open and the lights illuminate, hit close and the doors lock and the lights go off.

Install is easy, there's a youtube on it. For the dome light, I used a flat trim pick and just pried the clear cover off, then the reflector. Popped the halogen out and the LED lead in, then popped all back in place. Took about 87 seconds. I probably could have done the same with the front map lights, but opted to take out the 2 Torx 20s and pop the unit off, remove the lens' and reflectors, do the install and reinstall all. Took 2x 87 seconds.

I like it. What did you do to black out the radio surround piece? Spray paint or vinyl?

I have same one, but stuck it on plastic dash. Been solid there since application (over a year ago probably now). Still loving it.

Same here. Paired with a 12” cord running to the far left usb it’s pretty clean.

I think I saw this for 18+ models that had the remote sensor relocated. I thought mainly from the third brake light location being replaced with LED’s.

Check the build link in my signature.
    No issues here.
The most common issues are LEDs installed in the cargo/third brake light housing because one of the key fob receivers is located very near there.

No issues with me 17. I had caliraisedLED interior lights before the mesos and never had any issues with those either.

Interesting. FWIW - My 2014 Taco had random electrical faults months after I replaced the 3rd brake bulbs with LEDs. Took it to the dealer and they knew the issue right away. They replaced the LEDs and balance in the universe was restored. Tech said it was a resistance issue.

Funny you mentioned that- last night I hit unlock and got nothing - hit lock and unlock again and it worked after a few tries. Who knows, could just be my fob battery but somewhat ironic and this is the first time it's ever done that.

No issues here, either. I had led's in there before the Meso's and didn't have issues with my Viper keyless entry/remote start.
Also no issues with installation, either. I installed them in-place without removing the console/dome light. I highly recommend them!

Keep us posted if changing the battery on the fob fixes this.

don't the lights have to be on, so when LOCKING the car?

I've had the MESO's on for 2 weeks, and not had an issue w/ factory oem key remote, nor my Compustar fobs.

For sure - like I said first time ever doing that and I've had the Meso lights in for over a week so it's probably just a fluke and the battery

Eibach Pro Kit. Camburg UCA's. Coachbuilder bumper shims. Cab mount chop. N-Fab side steps. 18 inch Method 308 Roost wheels. Falken Wildpeak AT/3 tires (295-70-18). Gator EFX bed cover.
Brought the rear back to stock ride height and adjusted the front down to level. Installed Element UCA's and Coachbuilder front bumper shims and had a cab mount chop. Blacked out all of the emblems. Disappointed that I still have a little rubbing on the bumper in reverse at close to full lock after the alignment. Thinking that a caster adjustment can eliminate that since I should have plenty of room for my setup at this point. The guys at Sibibuilt and Aiden James Customs in Santa Ana, CA are rock stars. Definitely regret not using them from the start.

How do you feel about the carbon fiber AC pieces? I was just looking at those in matte black on Amazon last night, but $85 seems like a lot for such a simple part. How’s the quality?

Also, did you have the AJT ac covers on before you stuck the carbon overlays on? If not, do you think I’d have to remove mine that are already on now & then re install them after? Or is there somehow enough room with the AJT covers on to slide it over & under if that makes sense.

I will say that if it’s a high enough quality overlay & holds up well, then that’s way better than tearing apart the dash to paint or replace those 2 pieces.

Do you have any issues with it dropping out or anything? I ask this because I have one similar to this and it is a bit of a diva and likes to come out of the pocket.

Not at all, you turn it to it locks into the console cup holder. Just line it up so the little slot is on the right side in case you have a cup with a handle so it doesn't interfere with anything.

Scroll on the pictures until you get to the last one and watch the video, it explains it.

    Best cup holder ever!
