What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I know it's the cheaper route. Just wanted to see how it holds up.

 

Got the interior done a few days ago.

 

Installed Meso map and dome lights, night and day difference from the halogens…

Still waiting on my meso lights. I ordered them within the first hour of getting the email too. USPS….

 

Damn. I ordered mine a couple days after everybody else and got them yesterday.

How do you feel about the white? Is it obnoxiously bright or just right? I don't necessarily have an issue with the brightness of the stock interior but I like the idea of brighter LED. With that said, I've read some say they are just way too bright. I'm leaning more toward bulbs though because I don't really have a use for the funky colors.

 

I had already swapped my stock bulbs for LEDs, and these aren't any more obnoxious than those. They put off the perfect amount of light imo.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not generally someone who dislikes bright lights so I think they would be alright for me. I was mainly leaning toward bulbs because as I mentioned, I don't need the different colors and the bulbs are cheaper so it just makes more sense for me.

 

I ordered as soon as I got the email and am also still waiting.

 

I got them because I think they look cool, even when not on.

 

Installed the smoked winjet/wolfstorm sequential tail lights. Seem to be good quality so far and love the look over stock.

 

Added a new co-pilot to the truck. Everyone meet Max.

I just did the Opt7 tailgate lights. Not a great pic. It has turn and the backup lights.

 

How difficult was it to remove those from the steering wheel?

That’s the same one I have. Been on for about 2 years and still working well. Love the added reverse lighting.

 

Haha. You know it, 7 week old Blue Heeler. He’s the third one I’ve owned. They are the best dogs.

 

It's not difficult at all

 

They sure are. I used to have an Aussie/Blue Heeler mix. Great dog.

 

Installed a set of Deaver U748 leaf springs and Total Chaos shackles. I had Camburg shackles on initially but had to get rid of them since they were too narrow to fit the sleeves and bushings that came with the leafs.

Now I just need to cut that pesky exhaust tip off....

 

I need those leaf springs in my life.
