I've been looking at these Bilsteins for quite awhile and always drooled over them, and I've always had good luck with them on all my vehicles. What set these apart from the other brands for me, was that they can go 100k before a rebuild, and you don't need bump stops or limit straps with these, because they have all that stuff internally. I beat the shit out of my 6112s and they held up great, with these being even bigger and beefier, I don't expect I'll ever hurt these shocks. If you're not gonna be doing any crazy off roading, I'd go with the trd pro shocks. I ran 275/70s with my 6112s.

Thanks everyone for the input about my rear sway bar. I'm not pinching any of the brake lines or wheel sensor lines. I understand the part about moving them outside a little bit away from the welds but don't understand what yall mean by moving it outside the bracket.

    PS
I have the directions but I'm a hard-headed male who thinks they can do it with one quick look at the directions....

I know at some point there was an edit to the installation sheets. I thought it was for the rear sway bar but it could have been something else. Hard to remember since I have bought so much crap lol. Speaking of installs, someone on here said that rotating the ubolts and brackets 90 degrees will contribute to flattening of leaf springs. :notsure:

So my driver side just needs to get scooted over a couple inches inside the brake bracket. The passenger side is already inside the brake bracket but need to scoot it out also just to make it even with the other side?

Everyone's mechanical aptitude is different. Give the guy a break...he's just asking questions. If you have an issue with it, move on to another thread and be concerned with it no longer. There are plenty of members here that will continue to help him. No need to continue straying the thread off course.

....so my wife actually *IS* dyslexic. It's very hard for her at times to get things unless they're demonstrated to her, depending on the subject; it's why she doesn't post much on FB or the like. She's one of the smartest and best damn nurses/diabetic educators myself and everyone who knows her has ever known, but via email or online, it can take a bit more effort at times to pick stuff up; her learning style is different than others.

Any idea how many times she's been fussed/cussed out online because she's 'just jerking people around' when she genuinely doesn't understand something?

That's my point. Showing people some grace can go a long way. And now I gots to go pack for a trip. Have a great day and a Merry Christmas. :)

Yes I know Rough Country’s are just bolt extensions but I don’t think think I will see anything rougher than a logging road. I didn’t want to spend too much money and mess with wheels and tires by going higher.

For shits and giggles I purchased a RCI set of skids which I will install in the Spring.

Thanks! I’m super happy with how it turned out. I’ve got some black steps and black emblems on the way to finish out the look.

In a few years I want to get maybe some bronze wheels for mine. I have the smoked mesquite and chrome and don't want to black It out but the Tundras look great lifted and blacked out.

Your truck looks like a whole different truck with the new wheels. Now I'm anxious to change mine out

I think the more aggressive sidewall also plays a big role, so I’m glad I picked those tires. Look good and great road manners too. Also can’t beat the price, $725 to my door for the set. I look forward to eventually seeing your new setup!

Over 75k of many not so easy miles and the beast still looks and performs great. This was the final result after a pretty thorough cleaning inside and out.

Only a couple days ago it looked like this and was overdue for a good cleaning.

Just installed a Gator SRX roll up cover on my truck tonight. Seems like a pretty decent cover. Decided to go roll up so I don't have to take it off when hauling big stuff.
