It’s easy. Slice the nipple and use a tiny bit of dawn over a cone of electrical tape.

Little tips like this are why forums are a gold mine, thank you.

It comes with a oem sized switch/button that I'll have to install in one of the spots in front the shifter cup holder area.

Running the wires through the firewall is really easy. The passenger side is the easier access of the 2 sides. Cut the end off and fish through.

Yes, one on each side. Just above where the carpet stops.

Sweet, feeling a little better about this install. Much appreciated, I'm looking forward to getting them on the truck. I live outside of the city and these country roads are dark.

I decided to add the yotaleds I think they look good but what really bothers me is this flipping nsv light bar is brighter on the driver side and blinding on coming traffic I may get rid of it because I don’t think there is anything I can do about it and very skeptical about buying another one. If anyone has a solution please let me know it would be very much appreciated.

It is around $1000 and junk. Only 9,000 lumens as well. For the same price you can get the BD S8 at 25,400 lumens.

Most of them are most likely because of the easy and factory look install. Alot of people wanted the plug and play option versus some cutting and trimming. The bar is just too low of a lumen output for the cost of it. They have also rewired it so that it will only work with high beams.

I took a look at them and was interested, but the cost kept me away. Glad I read your posts, definitely not for me. Thank you kindly and hopefully you recoup most of your funds into them.

@excelw is it too late for a warranty claim on the NSV lightbar?

I asked them and showed them pictures
and they said they said they can’t do anything unless i have a receipt or can give them a original purchase date or name of email and i did and apparently they can’t find it on there computer or in their file I will probably get rid of it, it really sucks though. :argue: I thought they would cover it under warranty but they need that information in order to warranty the light :notsure: be prepared it may happen to who ever has the same light down the road.

I thought they would too I definitely think it’s a warranty issue.

I put a set on my ‘98 Taco a couple months ago. Other than the benefits already mentioned I’ll Add:
The quality of the parts was second to none.
There are grease zerks for the bushings and upper control arm ball joint, which I see as an advantage over stock.
The arms can be rebuilt vs. complete replacement when needed.
Customer Service is also second to none.
    Best of Luck.

Installed the ESP under seat storage. Worst part was worrying about cutting the harness under the foam. Turns out there is 1-3/16” thick foam on top of the harness.

also, the Dremel oscillating tool makes short work of that foam. The foam is only 1-3/16” thick above the wiring harness. Other places it’s 2.5” max thickness.

Goes without saying but read the instructions when positioning the template and cutting the squares out of the carpet. I noticed a difference of instructions from what I received and what is shown on some YouTube vids.

How many nights do you have in your four wheel camper? That’s going to be my next evaluation once I put grow my AT Summit and Tundra.

Is the HDX version of the brush guard and do you get an error on your tss sensor since it’s behind the perforated metal?
