What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Today I found my Tundra on Google Maps! Back in September I was driving home and the Google Street View car passed me going the other direction. Today I remembered that and checked, and...sure enough!

 

Someone should make a thread for 2022 fails. This goes well with the earlier video of the guy that got his 2022 stuck in the mud.

 

Axe mounts came in the mail today so I finished my shovel/axe mounts.

 

@JDR76 Your post reminded me that I had also seen the Google Maps car a few months back so I checked and what do you know..there's my truck.

Wildly fun, and sketchy as hell and I should have brought another person or vehicle lol

Explored all the way to the (wide open) mexican border and had a hell of a time. Super sketchy but made it back. The closer hills and further mountains are both in Mexico.

Also, don't always believe gaia when they say there's a trail, lyin sumbitches.

 

Not sure what it is, but something about your truck is very appealing to. Looks damn good.

It looks like it's been thoughtfully built for function. Straight capable looking truck with out any frills.

 

This is with a leer cap, wife and kids, two dogs in the back and full tank of gas.

 

I put the seat heater mod in. If you don’t have this you should definitely do it. The mod write up is great and took 5-6 hours.

That could include just about every picture I've seen of a 2022, especially nose and tail pics.

 

Facts. Looks like an uglier gmc front end. It might get better gas mileage but it's a butter face... and ass.

Life's to short to drive an ugly truck lol I'm half kidding. I'm sure some people think it's gorgeous and the out going tundra design is hideous. To them I say get your eyes checked.

Decided to go w/ the HF badland apex 12k synthetic rope winch. Mounted perfectly on the c4 bumper!
Im aware HF Has the reputation of cheap stuff/ but from the couple people I know with them and many good reviews online, I decided to give it a shot. $559 plus tax.

 

Looks nice. Could you share a link for them? I need a mount for my shovel - it's winter in northern New England now, so it may get used.
