Oh I forgot to mention that Siri got the Boot.

Replaced with my new Science Navigator/Information Official

And the very first question: is this thing really gonna work?

Have to say I’m quite pleased with the response I got……So I guess it’s gonna be accurate

How bad is the dust from those? I used the yellow stuff pads and they worked well, but I can’t keep the wheels clean for more than 3 days if the truck is moving. Makes my bronze wheels look damn near black fast and they are not easy to clean since they are a textured matte finish. Hopefully the orange ones do better with that.

2in aluminum hitch with a red shackle. Not sure how I feel about it. Matches my front 2 shackles though.

I dont really notice the dust honestly, my wheels are black and I don't really keep my truck clean during the winter and fall, I'm driving through mud most of time getting to hunting spots.

All parts were in stock today so picked them up. Now I need to decide if I want to install the skid plate before Toyota sends out more info and repairs the steering rack via the Recall. Opinions?

Why wait? And is yours actually under recall? Did you get official notice from TMC?

I got a notice from carfax and I’ve checked Toyota recall search with my vin and it is listed. The rack will need to be accessed from under the truck. Per Toyota, The skid plates hardware is not to be reused once installed. If I put it on, The dealer would need to take it off to address the Recall. I’m not sure if they would try and reuse the hardware or cover the cost of the required new skid plate hardware.

They would have to replace it if the recall says to use new hardware. I wouldn’t wait. My wife’s Subaru has a recall that is coming up on a year without them having the parts yet…

The Recall may not say to use new hardware for the skid plate, but Toyotas info on the skid plate does note it.

Nice. I’m in Leander if you want to see one already installed before you slice and dice.

They’re Colorlugs caps. They’re great, easy to clean and protect the lug nuts too.

Just ordered my rear sway bar and haven't even bought my tundra yet. I'll take the keys this evening.

The only thing my stock mirrors have is the heated function. Is turn signal power already at the truck connection or do wires need to be run?

I don't think any Tundra have existing turn signals wires, you will need to run new ones into the cab.

The turn signal wire is there and already part of the harness. The only thing you have to wire is the reverse light but they cover that in their video for installation. The turn and drl in the boost mirrors will work with your truck without any changes.

They all have the wiring. SRs might be the one exception and I do not know. But every SR5 and up has it already in the harness. Plug in the new mirrors and it will work
