mind if i ask how much the BMC cost? All the shops near me want to charge $500+ for the BMC even if the plates are provided, which is way more than what I've seen a few people post it cost them.

No pictures unfortunately but installed a block heater and a battery warmer this evening. I'm debating on putting an in cab heater in as well, but that's more so for my comfort. We routinely see temperatures colder than -30c / -22f. Last year we had a couple days of -50c/-58f with the windchill so I try to keep the truck as warm as possible to lessen the strain on it.

BMC's are around $300-$350 here in OR. I have had 5 vehicles done, just wanted to share that so you didn't think I was talking out of my ARSE.

Sick truck! What was the cost, if you don't mind sharing?

Guess it just varies from area to area, probably get a better price up in Houston or that area but, I'll probably hop over to Louisiana and ask around see what prices I get.

Nice! I’d like to do the same. I don’t mind the matte chrome grill on my Limited, just want to get rid of the other chrome.

We’re you able to source the surround separate?

I called Midas to see if they can resurface rotors and they said, “yes no problem.” So I removed the fronts of the truck and found some seriously over used pads.(my fault) then I took the rotors to Midas and sure enough the fucks said no we don’t have the tool for that. I was like wtf bro, I just called and you said you can do it. They then told me to call another shop and sure enough the guy has the tools for it, but told me since it was a tundra just to get new rotors. I can understand that if I was using stock rotors, but I have slotted frozen rotors which weren’t cheap and the rotors have enough thickness to get resurfaced. So I gave up for now on that and decided to buy new rotors online. To my surprise I found the new power slot cryo rotors for sale at tire rack for a great price. So I just ordered them and using orange stuff pads when I get the new rotors. So if you are looking for some good rotors for a great price go to tire rack now. The frozen rotors website is selling the same ones for basically $200 more. I made sure to check model numbers first and they match. I need better than stock brakes cause my rig is heavy with all its gear, armor and sitting on 37s. Hopefully this helps someone in need of an upgrade. Now if I can get someone to resurface the other ones I will have a spare set of nice rotors. 5FCBC110-326C-4D7B-81D4-9CDA661DCD04.jpg463456EC-C6A5-4925-BBFA-20CE54F44346.jpg6246F47E-DC4D-4E48-99DA-CA22B5A658D3.jpg4DDC84F1-9E86-4CFB-B5F7-BEA8C1620440.jpg

I have the StopTech Sport cryo treated on mine. They are much better than the crappy PowerStops that I had previously.

It's just a store brand that is cheaper than Mobil 1.

The guy that manages the auto service department at my Walmart swears that Mobil 1 supplies the Super Tech Brand of full synthetic for Walmart. That doesn't necessarily mean its the same however he is adamant that Mobil 1 supplies them. It does cost a lot less than the name brands. I haven't tried it but I am definitely curious to hear from some that have.

Noticed everyone was asking the cost question and he had already answered it, so figured I would quote everyone and put his answer below.

From everything I’ve read, it’s just as good as mobile 1 but costs about $8 less per 5qt jug. Plus the mobile1 seems to always be out of stock everywhere.
