Having a tribute “Ironman Stewart” type graphics applied. (I know it’s not for everyone) pretty stoked! Work being done by PDX WRAPS.

THEY SENT THIS TEASER… (Toyota for proof only… not final placement)

Installed a power lock actuator in the tailgate. Instead of using the Toyota part or pop lock kit (~$250 CAD) I used another thread on this forum to DIY one with a $5 Amazon actuator, and 20' of wiring. Took about 1hr and works great.

I also started painting a few pieces on my new truck. Getting rid of some interior chrome, and painting the tow hooks red. IMG_20211116_210517_01.jpg

Lol nice, u won't regret it. Plus they come with holes so you can use it as a fire extinguisher mounting point or something.

Thanks, I wanted to order Valhalla plates but the wait is too long and the cost (while probably worth it) was too high for my wallet. I have spent about $150 in hardware and the plate and labor were free. I just had to measure and design, cut a cardboard template and then teach myself how to use LibraCad to draw it up. A co-worker is the press brake supervisor and has a Tundra also so he has been pushing me to get them designed and then we used some bad aluminum parts that were scheduled for the scrap bin, begged the laser supervisor to cut it on a weekend and we now each have a set for ultra cheap. I would like to get them powder coated red and if I do, I will post some better pictures.

That's awesome, I definitely have plenty of scrap but no way to bend or weld at the moment. I been eyeballing the titanium mig 140 welder on harbor freight for a while now though. Add an aluminum spool gun and I'd be rockin.

Installed a new to me Truxedo and replaced all the interior lights, cargo lights, and license plate lights with LED’s. The picture doesn’t do it justice. They are way brighter than stock.

Thanks dude! Same to you! If I didn’t have silver I’d go black, even though they’re a pain to keep clean. I’m always Tundra/Tacoma/4Runner spotting around town. We’ve got some nice rigs in the area! Shameless plug lol, I’ll be selling my old cover if you know anyone local that needs one. And by old, I had it on my truck less than 2 months.

Mine is black! Yes it is some work to keep looking good but I manage pretty well I think. The key with black is keeping it waxed/protected and being careful when you wash. Toyota paint is easy to scratch. Give me a honk or yell if you see me around.

I bought them on Amazon for 1/3 the price of BW's. I highly recommend them. Built well, good materials. I also like the integrated mud flap. Mine were scratched when they arrived but I had them coated with bedliner anyway. They offer free returns.

Custom. It took about a month of back and forth, but they did some extra work to include my DDR Pro.

At some point, you will turn that Readylift into a set of coilovers and shackles. Been there, done that.

Minor rubbing on front fender liner. I just took a heat gun and pushed it back and removed all splash guards. Completely clears everything now.
