No instructions, but it's literally 2 wires. You grab and pull the rear of the console off with your hands. Remove the cigarette lighter and stick the new usb through the hole and tighten the nut. I just used posi taps to connect the 2 wires to the wires from the harness that went to the 12v oulet you removed. Literally a 15 minute job at most.

If you end up getting the NSV one let me know and I can pull my panel off and take a picture of the wire connections for you.

ESP did an amazing job, I literally had their install video on my ipad as I went step by step to install mine. One thing I am doing though you may look into is switching out the locks to barrel key locks as getting those normal keys into the cabinet locks always a freaking pain in the ass. I totally feel that nerves thing esp when I got down to the frame of the back of the truck as I didn't even have 120 miles on hers since i bought her when I installed the ESP cabinet.

How was cutting the middle seat area? I really like this mod but am terrified I'll hit that keyless start module under there.

Check the build link in my signature.
It’s loomed and protected. You’ll be fine - just pay attention in that area. You’d have to be really going to town with the knife to damage it.

Not so much about what I've done to my truck, more of a brag.

I bought and installed the ARK fender liners when we had that group buy, for weekends like this:

Surefire detail. Schuylkill haven pa. But your in New York. I know someone in NJ if that closer he does a great job too. He did my 4runner Pro 2 years ago. My local guy was not doing it at the time. But more convenient for me now.

Do you think the metal locking vs plastic is worth it?

Yeah, I was pretty nervous about area. Correction, I was really nervous about all of the cutting, but especially nervous about that area. Like @RainMan_PNW said, just take it easy. I bought a cheapy linoleum knife that I used for the foam and it took a lot of effort to cut all the way through the thick part of it. Where the loom is, the foam is not as thick so you won't be hitting it full force. As long as you aren't using some super sharp with a long blade, and take your time, you'll be fine.

Have a shop vac handy and somebody to help you move the seats - doing that by yourself sucked. Definitely a mod worth doing.

I went with the locking metal because I think it looks cleaner and the BifMobile is used a lot to get groceries. I put the groceries in the back with the seats up (because it's usually around 200 degrees in Texas) and just didn't like the idea of putting them over whatever I decided to stash in my bins.

love it! Sounds so much better than the stock head unit. I will say I’m still getting used to life without a volume knob. Still find myself reaching for it.
