I didn't do anything for my truck today. But the school district I work for finally painted my work truck so I'm not the only one in the district with a puke yellow truck. And now it matches my tundra! It's not an awesome truck by any means, it's a 91 GMC 1 ton dually with a service bed. The district I work for is pretty cheap when it comes to this kind of stuff. Not many of us have very new trucks. Our transportation manager just goes to auctions and buys the vehicles from other public entities. My truck was a previous DWP truck (Department of water and power). So we basically get other cities or government vehicle hand me downs. But it's cool I like the truck and we only drive in maybe a 25 mile radius. Plus if it keeps the paying as well and keeping the money in our pockets, instead of pretty vehicles, I'm fine with that.

I've had a pretty bad day with paying for a cell phone that got lost in the mail.$949.99. But this kind of made me happy to se a one day paint job thrown on my work truck. so at least I don't look like a slob everywhere I go.
IMG_2842.jpg I knocked over this brand-new tetherball Pole that I forgot I had just been installed. They use cheap material now. It's like a fence post instead of a 2 inch galvanized pipe. But look at that nasty truck anyways! IMG_2291.jpg

IMG_2840.jpg They even used husky liner on top of the service bed, on the floor of the service bed, and on the bumper like I asked them to. I like to set tools up on top of the bed plus it's easier to strap the pipe if I walk on top of the bins. They also blacked out the wheels like I asked.
    IMG_2841.jpg
    IMG_2761.jpg
I guess I just needed a release post to talk about something other than what's really bugging me. Just needed to come and share with my friends.

Not sure I like to stick with OEM and this had the doors that cover the top. Sits on the frame of the back seat with 4 hand screws. It's perfect for me organized all my stuff in it and once the seats are down you don't even know it's there.

Took tomorrow off to do some yard work. But then I just remember I've got $600 worth of color matched rear bumper corners in my basement that I've been waiting to install.

    Decisions, decisions....
