What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Very nice. My general grabbers and fuel shok 18s in Bronze apparently came in this morning... just waiting for them to be mounted and balanced so I can take her in and get new shoes mounted.

 

I had one of these and the threads cracked inside. Be careful how much you tighten it.

 

ugh - I think Toyota requires the mods to change all 3rd Gen references to 2.5 Gen and the 4th Gen to 3rd.

 

Got my local dealer to price match an online price. Here’s the part info.

 

I patted my 2020 Tundra on the grill today and said "The 2022 Tundra seems pretty cool but you will always be my little badass".

They are PVD. I just posted part numbers and link to Lewis Toyota, a couple of posts above. Great prices, fast shipping, well packed and excellent customer service.

 

I purchased them a year ago and I paid $51. Not positive but I don’t think they are painted. I used an impact wrench to install and no chipping. I had the same thought but only time will tell for sure.

 

Mind posting the ebay link (if there are enough for both of us! lol)

 

Not sure I understand the lug nut accessory part? is that any different from the lug nut itself?

Added a safe to the console during halftime yesterday...The fricken thing had a bent corner that I know didn't happen in shipping, because the outer box was ok the inner box was all "F''d up, but I just bent it back and and installed it. It was the 100 dollar version not the 350.00 one from Toyota...It does its job and it also forced me to clean my console

 

No - that is simply how it is described. It is a package of five lug nuts.

 

These are the same lug nuts (same part number - cannot verify if OEM but suspect they are) but isn't it $21 more expensive than four sets at $13 per set?

that looks true. the ones from Lewis are cheaper, probably more easily returnable, and are parked for the moment in my shopping cart.
