It wasn’t extremely rusted. I looked at it the other day when I was doing work. It was froze up he said and wouldn’t budge. All the salt from the winters. He took the torch to it and jackhammer and went to loosen the nut and it snapped. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you sir! As much as it was to get those pigs on for a CM, I can see why it would be even more challenging on a DC :(. I'm hoping you were able to get yours squared away?

Those look great. I wish RCI had that kind of a top plate option. Never have liked the dimpled hole look that they have.

After wanting to do this mod almost since I got the truck, I finally added a perforated leather tacoma wheel I found on ebay. I gotta say, its so premium feeling and looking compared to the SR5 wheel — I wish I would have done it sooner, ah well.

Hahaha honestly I was quite nervous about it, but more in my head than anything. The airbag stuff was the one factor that kept me from doing the mod for so long. I disconnected the neg battery terminal and let it sit for 15mins and then started taking things apart.

Thanks! I really like the deck plate. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the powder coating on the deck plate is textured, vs. the smooth powder coating on the tubing and mounting plates.

Looks good! I just put in the 10” system and had to paint my tail pipe for all those people looking under my truck that I’m trying to impress :muscleflexing:.

How do you like the sound of the 12”? Resonator?

You guys out west! Clean up after off-roading out there means getting on a highway and going fast enough to blow the dust off! You need to find some MUD!

I am very happy so far. Just enough rumble for me to smile, but still dead quiet in the cab on the highway.

No resonator installed (still unsure yet) but I have a dumped tailpipe, which has killed a significant amount of any drone.

I was actually able to find some decent mud yesterday. Was regretting that decision today though, after the first hour of washing the truck came and went… at least the undercarriage of my truck is nice and shiny now :notsure:

This pic doesn’t do justice to the mayhem underneath. Oh, and this shit dries like concrete.
