What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

S&B intake, AFe spacer. Have the factory TRD exhaust. When I added the two truck is little more quicker, plus the sucker roars. It actually made my TRD exhaust sound and flow better. Plus looks perfect under hood. Very happy with the outcome. Plus last week install nitro’ s ridge grapplers but not a big fan look beefy as hell, will probably go back to falken wildpeak at3w like I had on my 19. Handle well in the snow storm, and road smooth after about 1,000 mile.

Made some brackets to fit a new diode dynamics 30 inch amber combo light on my brush guard. Brush guard brackets used the lower air dam space and mounting so had to accommodate.

 

Much better, bye bye chrome. I also bought a new shift knob after the fact so I should have that this week. Need to convince my buddy to vinyl wrap the rest of the silver up here.

 

Looks like you're north of me, I'll have to come find you after this is installed, I mean after all northern wisconsin isn't that big, shouldn't be too hard

 

My guess was that it’s the OEM cargo divider for the rail system but it looks a bit different in the listings …..

Yeah i feel you I just had had a house remodel. My tires are the kenda klever rt. They are 35x12.50R18. 10 ply. The wheels are method 306. Here is the spec sheet for the wheels.
The king shocks are set to 3 in of lift, i had a body mount chop and i forget if the shackles in the rear are 1 or 2 in.

 

Picked up this Diamondback HD from a guy down in Maryland two weeks ago (total gentleman). Gave me a great deal.

It came with two storage bins that mount underneath it but those were unfinished aluminum diamond plate. Way too bright and shiny for me. So I picked up upol raptor bedliner spray kit and went to work today. Had plenty of extra leftover so i sprayed my hitch coverplate too. Still had plenty left so I sprayed my outdoor gargoyles Good thing Otto wouldnt hold still long enough because I was on a roll.

 

Are those Bulldog Gargoyles ?

 

Dont know. They are supposed to be dogs. Got them down in Delaware a few years ago. All five of them are from a company Massarelli

 

After getting burned by 2 other tint shops (I called the first shop almost 2 months in advance because I knew how busy they get once summer hits but 3 days before my date I called in for a reminder and was told noone booked me) I finally got my windows tinted. I got 30% SolarFX FX Plus NanoCeramic tint all the way around and 45% SolarFX IrFx ceramic tint for the windshield. Since my truck is parked outside I figure this would be a worthy investment. I love it and I am stoked!

did you get the camper shell tinted as well ?

 

No, its just the standard factory dark glass from the manufacturer.

Where did you get the hitch cover from?

 

Went from 275’s to 295’s. Looks way better IMO.
Now I just have to sell the 275’s before the wife finds out..

 

Nice. I have 50% on my windshield. Looks dark because the rest of the windows are 5%

 

I live in southern New Jersey, so a bit far from Wisconsin.

I did live in waukesha Wisconsin back in 2007 through 2009. Wisconsin is a beautiful state, I do miss Friday night fish fry.

It happens, thanks. Install date is the weekend of the 23rd of this month. It is like waiting for Christmas like when we were kids.

Lifted?

 

Looks good! I wanted 70% but the shop I went to only does 45%. I definitely felt the difference in heat rejection once mine was finished.

 

Installed Rokblokz regular size mud flaps today. Expensive, but they exceed my expectations. The 10hp they add doesn’t hurt either.

A few notes…

1. The website says they fit gen 2 and gen 3, but the instructions were only for gen 2. Easy enough to install, but I thought maybe they sent the wrong product. Nope…their instructions are just outdated.
2. The kit was two screws short of the quantity needed.
3. I was very disappointed by the amount of paint damage on the body under the sides of the factory mud flaps. The new RB flaps won’t have that problem, but they also don’t hide the damage. I was on the fence about getting fender flares, but after seeing the damage caused by the mud flaps, I decided no way on the flares. Not worth it.
4. They really are sleek looking. I was surprised by how much a difference they make to the look of the truck. Subtle, but significant. Pictures don’t do it justice.
5. They provide more clearance than the factor flaps.
