Been a long couple of days pulling trim, making holes and running wires. Got a RedVision display head installed in the overhead console. Mounted it to the useless card holder panel. It will monitor and control the rear lithium battery system, and solar and ac inputs.

12v 202 amp hour lithium battery - 37 lbs total - such amazing energy density.

Looks sweet. I was looking at that same rack with tonneau brackets. Do those tonneau brackets mount to your bed rail tracks? You mind taking a pic of how they mount under your tonneau?
    TIA

Did you wrap or paint the tail lights? Same with the third brake light?

These particular brackets don't mount to the rails since the rail is lowered by the Revolver X4 cover. I think KB Voodoo has a set of longer brackets that mount to the rails. That said, here are some photos from RCI's website as I didn't take any before putting the tonneau cover back on. The tonneau cover basically clamps in the z-brackets (you can drill through the top down through both brackets for added support), and I'm surprised at how solid it is without drilling them in. I'll try to take some photos

I did use blue loctite on the feet for the rails and the bracket bolts.

Might have to try them out if I can make them look as clean as yours. Did you take the lights out before painting or did you mask off/any other recommendations?

It wasn’t easy but at the end of the day, I have put my family’s needs first for the past 18 years and my wife knows how much I wanted this upgrade and that is that really.

I took them all out. I sprayed thr VHT very lightly, therefore you could immediately tell it was a home-job. That’s where an application of 1k clear coat comes in. It smoothed out all of the small bumps that spray on smoke leaves. I also suggest sanding it with 1000grit or lighter. I used 500grit on the passenger taillight and it required 3 coats of clear instead of one like the driver

Toytec has this leaf pack shim that they say "can be used to help with the drivers lean that is common with Toyota trucks." Is there a reason to avoid shimming up one side on the axle? I know top plate shims are used on the front coilovers to help with the front, but I'd never seen any mention of doing this under the leaf springs.

Hit a milestone. Pardon the dust. Photo taken on a flat, straight stretch of road with no one around. Also, did my 3rd oil change (1st at 500mi; 2nd at 3k) and switched from Mobil1 to Amsoil. Engine definitely runs quieter. Almost no ticking. Crazy!

Clazzio seat leather/vynil covers are on. Tuff install cuz I did it alone. 2 people are recommended tho. Somewhat expensive but I think they are worth it. Finally got that leather smell and they fit great.
