What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I guess I am going to order a TRD shift knob....

 

I did the whole kit

 

Installed my TRD Front sway bar and finally got the Nitto RGs.

 

Hot water for days. Just wish it was instant

 

i got one called Carlinkit wireless car play dongle it's been pretty good. I've had a few glitches and I just unplug it and plug it back in and my phone automatically reconnects.

 

Finally got my center caps color matched and pulled the trigger getting bronze wheels installed. Waiting on my black lug covers but all and all, not bad.

 

Yes!!!! So no more BBS wheels?

 

Still got them. Knowing me I will change my mind and put them back on, lol. I need to just sell them to get rid of temptation. Bronze is growing on me, they are definitely unique and nobody around here has them.

 

Send em over here. I promise to never give them back.

like the power idea vs running wires or battery powered unit. What do I look for on my 2016 to see if it has that port? My mirror looks like yours, has compass, garage buttons, etc.

 

Did the front sway bar delete. Thought I didn’t need to pull off the RCI skid, but unbolted the 5 engine mounting bolts and the 3 valence bolts and the sway bar slid right out with ease..

 

Did you re-use the two rear lock nuts on the back end of your skid plate?

 

Nothing too exciting today. Installed the 'Eagle Klaw' keepers on my pass side weather tech

Decided to put bumper shims on to give a little more tire clearance

And finally got around to putting in the CB carrier bearing drop for the rear. Was having a slight vibration out of a stop as other have described. Problem solved!

 

Took a chance and installed these totally integrated LED headlight bulbs today. They work and no error messages so far! Have a 2 year warranty so even if they last that long, it’s $60 well spent.

Just remove the plug on the back of the mirror. I did the same thing on my sons 2021

Don’t do any towing and honestly, after driving for over 20+ miles, there really isn’t any difference.

 

That looks really good what did you use?

 

The FSB doesn’t really have any effect on towing, just on handling. Specifically, maintaining control during hard braking/accident avoidance situations. I was thinking about doing the same and removing mine for a little smoother ride while off road, but I read through this thread and was convinced otherwise.
