What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I have the same mats and had the same problem. One Eagle Klaw in the center on the edge nearest the passenger seat did the trick.

 

How're you liking your Mt. Hood? Also, how did you get your bed rack to sit flush with the prinsu rack? I asked CBI a while ago and they never got back to me.

Fixed my "no power" issue at the fuse. Wasn't making a good enough connection, put on a different 1/4" eyelet and that seemed better. Then I finished wiring the power to my dash camera.

Stereo, rear bed step and 38 gallon tank came today. Ordered a Anytime Backup Camera since I couldn't buy a stereo with multiple inputs. Will get the step on tomorrow, the stereo and bed lights in this weekend and gas tank next weekend.

 

Using the rest of the flat bar from my fire extinguisher project, I made a bracket for my MagLite.

 

Velcro tape works well. Stick rough side (hook side) on the back of the mat and it will stick to the carpet. It won't slide. I did front passenger side and also rear.

so what did you get...5150?

 

I did the same thing and it has worked great so far.

 

Which ones did you go with? I put 5100's on all 4 corners w/the front set in the middle, was like night and day difference compared to stock.

 

Been a while since I messed with suspension. If I were to do a 5100 all the way around from my stock shocks, do I need anything else or is something like this enough?

 

All you need are the shocks, everything else can stay stock...

 

I just did the front with 5100 to level. Put on mid settings. I really do not off road much. I did not want to have to mess with my set up/hitch for pulling the tt. Hope I was right as I have not hooked up the tt since.

 

I pull a TT and have a WDH, it did not affect the level at all.

 

I went with 6112s on the second notch; hoping that will level me out. Once they settle in, I'll see where I'm at and figure out what I want to do with the rears.

I'm a fan of the Bilsteins - did 5100s all around on my Tacoma, and they were a massive improvement over stock.

 

Well the 6112's are gonna me a HUGE upgrade, congrats..

Thanks! My decision was largely guided by what I could find in stock haha. If it levels out pretty well, I might put some sumo springs in the back to stiffen it up and call it a day.

 

Yeah, With my truck being a 2014, I'll probably throw all new on with the fronts set to level it out. I have air bags and a WD hitch for towing so I doubt I'll even notice any dip in the back.

 

Just ordered a set. I'll just need two, so I will probably post the others for cheap after I install mine. FYI, if you leave them in your cart for an hour or two on their website (gotta fill in your contact info) they'll send a 5% off code. It's only like 85 cents, but still.
