    Long time, no post!

Finally added tint - 5% on all sides and rear, 50% in the front windshield.

Added the driver side grab handle.

Been a year and two months and I'm still loving the truck. Feels more special that our trucks are hard to come by right now. Lol.

Oh yeah, if you see me in Nevada, say what's up! Got my custom plate (flip it upside down lol).

Took her out to the power line farm for a photo session and some cancer rays, realized a raptor light is out. Always something.

Quite a few things! Icon 2.5 front coilover reservoirs and 2.5 rear shock reservoirs, Mictuning rock lights, new set of fender flares (well aware of the risks, but hey it's paid off lol) and Tundra tailgate letters. Also took my Tundra to the dealership about the 4HI and 4LO blinking and ABS/Traction control being on solid. Comes to find out the problem was the rear harnesses. Everything is fixed and now my 4wd is back to working!

I used Luxe light wrap. Its a matte finish tint. However they also make a glossy one. I had a local shop do the lights for me. Go to metro restyling and order the film from there very reasonable

So much for adding on the bumpershellz this past weekend. A deer decided I didn't need them, but needed a better bumper instead. With that being said I have some painted bumpershellz that are new and never been on for sale in the buy, sale, trade forum if someone wants them. This lil incident done $4200 worth of damage, but the silver lining to it all is that I'll be replacing the bumper with a Westin Pro Mod and no extra cost. What's everyone take on these type of bumpers.

Im sorry the deer hit your truck. I hate that feeling. I've hit 3 in my time.

I like the looks of that bumper. Every time I see a post like this I start thinking about getting a Ranch Hand guard, but Im not sure that would help all together as the one deer ran into the side of my truck and rolled all the way down.

I got a couple of BOSS Audio Systems HIR70BGTA headrests, HDMI splitter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P5W7BQ3/) and a media player (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CCRYIQU).

Had to solder an external IR-receiver for the player:

Made two holes in console's rear plastic piece, one for USB plug, another one for IR-receiver:

Player/splitter fit well the center console, there's a small niche at the bottom:

    Done!

Now, the headrests... Their posts are very thin. None of the supplied plastic adapters fit Tundra, I had to weld my own posts

The original plan was to use analog signal (AV) and no external cables, but the quality was way too bad, so I had to switch to HDMI. The cable goes in the front fascia plate of the headrest, which I hate, but decided to give it a try before cutting the cable, routing it through the post and soldering inside the monitor directly to the PCB. Over the year of use it turned out the headrests are so-so, I'd be replacing them with the original monitor-less headrests, mounting a tablet holder and finding a tablet that has a higher quality IPS matrix and HDMI input.

But the idea itself - the kids noise cancelling - is superb! They have their own remote control and 1TB SSD full of movies. We've had weeks on the road in pre-COVID times in our old Volvo, where I did the same trick, and everyone loved it! The kids, the parents, everyone.

Yep, here's the link for the lock:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XSD61XN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8

And I used this video for instructions as the kit came without instructions:

There is also a cheaper version called "Pop n Lock" but I wanted to stick with factory parts.

I can't speak for the Tundra version(s), but up here in MT I had nothing but bad luck with Pop n Locks as far as them seizing up and failing in the winter. Had 3 of them, and wouldn't purchase another. YMMV
