Just a little psa...every time you go through car wash (with brushes) you’re sanding down your clear coat a little. Not to mention scratching up your headlights.

And there is a decent chance your roof molding will blow away on the way out.

Put the Rigd on this truck and installed their new latch

Threw a little cement TRD hitch cover on

Like the trick on the wheels, been thinking about doing something like that on my Method 605’s...did you hand paint the letters? Truck looks awesome...

We had the hail hit too...no damage this time. In 2016 it wiped out my truck and tore up the roof. I feel your pain. Texas snow.

    Thanks, it's getting there.
I used a silver sharpie for the letters. Did 2 coats of self etching primer over the chrome caps, then 2 coats of flat black. Came out better than expected. Now I don't have to spend $33 a piece on black caps.

Replaced my pre-fab box with one from Tech12Volts. The other one was rattling and discovered that it was cracked when I pulled it out. But this one from JRT has separate chambers for each speaker and sounds markedly better. And with the room I freed up under the small seat I got this storage box that fits perfectly. Only regret is I ordered the dark grey carpet instead of black - thought the dark grey would be a little darker but can’t see it when the seats are down so not a huge deal.

what tow mirrors did you get? They look like the factory ones I had on my 08. I’m looking for a good set to put on my 16.

Installed seat jackers on the passenger seat to make the Mrs. more comfy. (If mom ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!)

Installed interior VLEDs and then replaced the fuse that I blew.

Also replaced the chrome cup holder surround with Tuffskinz. I went with MGM. I was worried about adding MGM to my Super White DC, but since it is such a small piece it only cost me about 5 hp and 2 mph at top speed!

Did a couple small things, new cargo hooks, tail gate gap cover, got the truck detailed, removed bed stickers, and ceramic coated... and added a few HP.

    Whats up with that?

Paint looks killer for 90k and I'm assuming 4-5 years of desert sun.

I had the dealership tear the dash apart. LOL

When I had my solenoid damper replaced, the non-master tech left two huge spots in the dash where it'd go *bam* anytime you'd drive the truck over anything more crazy than a minor gravel road....and I live down a fairly moderate gravel road.

So they fixed the one they heard - and it unmasked the other one.

THIS time, without me asking, they not only fixed the issue, they also put quite a bit of NVH foam (noise, vibration & harshness) at/near any contact points or places it was likely to make noise. I drove it over the WORST freaking roads I could find on the way home and it didn't make any sounds at all.

Not everyone can say this, but I'm VERY pleased with my dealership. :)

That's the reprogramming from my bullydog GT. 10 minutes of anxiety while it reprograms everything. One little hiccup and my truck is a paperweight until I can reload the stock tune. Worked perfect though and throttle response and shifting are amazing. Plus no more governor ;). Paint came out great but he peeled off the paint protection under the headlights ( under my advice) and some paint came off with it. Now I'm looking around to get both of them repainted.

After finishing install I noticed a some significant vibrations when I drove it. Turns out the plate was making contact with the bottom of the transfer case.

I tried spacers, putting the rear plate beneath the front plate to lower it, and eventually took off the small protection plate mounted to the bottom of the transfer case.

Just wanted to post this so folks are aware of it.

They’re OEM, so probably exactly the same as what you had. I was considering Boost Auto aftermarket mirrors but I think the OEM are better suited for a half ton.

Just found out its a guy that works downstairs. He just bought it recently. Its a 2021 with a Rough Country 4 inch lift on +18 offset. I told him about the forum and my DD exhaust. I'll rope him in when he sees the toys on mine lol.

I tried some non-OEM tow mirrors and had a poor fit on driver's side. Left a gap at the top point where the mirror mount meets the door panel. I see a lot of comments about the non-OEM tow mirrors fitting poorly. In this case I think the OEM mirrors are the way to go, like you did, rather than the ebay options.
