What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

will be throwing my bumper shims in after work to get rid of the rubbing. any install tips would be great, going to try without removing the bumper, read it in a diy or someone's build thread on here and it seemed to work well

Annoying AF nanny beeper removed. Stealth mode engaged!

 

The beeper for when you don't wear your seatbelt or leave the keys in the ignition? If so where is it and how do you remove it?

 

I think the seatbelt beeper is probably inside the cab. This is the outside beeper that always seems to go off when I put the truck in park or leave it running somewhere. Hard to know exactly which situations cause it to go off but for whatever reason, mine was ALWAYS going off.

Removing it through the driver’s front wheel well is super easy.

 

Oh the smartkey beeper. I know what you're talking about. My ex wife's Highlander did that if you got out with it running and took the key with you.

 

Its easy money, just do one side at a time and you will not have to remove the bumper. Even easier if you have a helper to hold the bumper while you install them.

 

Found this little mirror in a clearance bin, and knew just where I could stick it.



Still closes too!

One thing I would have liked that my Wife's Highlander has... is that extended mirror that pops down to see the entire back seat area... especially with 2 of those assholes in the back

 

Both my past Hondas had these mirrors built into the sun glass holder. Super handy with both my daughters in the back. The sunglasses holder in the Tundra appears worthless and can’t hold my current sunglasses.

 

Stupid question, did you have any factory tint and do they have to take it off before install of new tint?

 

I just turned mine all the way down in the settings and you can't even hear it now.

 

CARiD and yes they plug into factory harness. Simple plug and play.

 

Installed my grab handle this afternoon.

What have most people done with the plastic left over piece after installing your grab handle? I decided to throw mine away (just now) because it was taking up space in my garage cupboard and I don't see any way I'd ever re-install it.

 

Just got my new c4 overland series bumper today after 12 weeks and realized I ordered the wrong one

 

Just have it Line-X'ed

 

Pretty sure that’s a different one.

 

Not the bare steel I ordered the wrong bar, I wanted a full height bar I guess but didn’t realize it until I got it here
