How much time do you have? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .......... Eaton rear eLocker, Camburg 1.5” shackles, Rear Seat Delete, S&B CAI, sPOD, Air Bag Helpers w/ Daystar Cradles, RCI engine & fuel tank skid plates, ABS Guards, Job Box Storage, Tailgate Power Lock, Desert Eagle Offroad tranny/cat security skid plate, Added Driver’s Side Grab Handle, VLEDS Footwell & Step Lighting, Anytime Front Camera, Illuminated Ignition Ring, Console Molle Panel, Sound Dampening in Ceiling/Doors/Floor, Yakima Rack, Paracord Grab Handle Wraps, BD Underhood Light, Tuffy Console Safe Insert, WeBoost System, Midland GMRS Radio, Console Interior Lighting, Power Inverter, Custom Center Switch Panel, and Dual Air Compressors
A bit of fun this past Thursday - 3rd diff member with Eaton eLocker preinstalled by East Coast Gear Supply (ECGS). My local shop only had to drop in the new 3rd and connect the power cable. I did the wiring to save a couple hundred $ on labor. Switching is controlled through the sPOD.

Side note: ECGS does sell 10.5” 3rds but it’s not on their web site. You’ll have to contact them directly if interested.

    Before:

    During:

    After:

The eLocker came with two wiring harnesses - one with the switch and the other with the relay. I didn’t use the switch harness and left it with the shop. The harness with the relay is connected as shown in the pic below:

While the truck was up on the lift, Camburg 1.5” shackles were also installed.

Found some take off power folding mirrors to replace mine that were broken and got them installed. Now have 2018 mirrors on my 2008 - with the added aerodynamic molding. Should improve gas mileage!

How long does each coat take to dry? Curious how long 5-6 coats take. And did you do the front yet? Thanks

After the $550 core charge is refunded, figure $3k (not including installation done by my local shop). That includes the 3rd, eLocker installed, wiring, and shipping.

Leafs are looking pretty flat to me.
The overload spring(thick bottom one)is supposed to be flat and it looks like it’s arc’d toward the ground. Maybe it’s just the camera lense

Tires balanced and rotated at Discount Tire. I had a wobble in the steering wheel at about 50mph; suspected/hoped a tire was out of balance and it appears that was the issue as the wobble is no more. I clearly explained that I want lugs torqued to 95 ft-lbs (Methods/ 85-95 ft-lb at a min 7.5 turns), pressure increased from 32 to 34 (going on road trip), balance weights placed on outside edge (Method 17s) and tires rotated in X patter (countering slight cupping). As Im watching the techs torque the lug nuts I ask him- "what did you torque them to?" He replies "100". I tell him that is a no go and please set to 95 and that I clearly told the admin guy at the desk... he got pissed however, I established dominance and reminded him why he was there. Not heading back to that DT....

First time towing my FD. No issues with transmission temps. 215F the whole trip and about 13MPG with the car on the trailer.
