Sorry to hear about that; that's heartbreaking!

My new windshield's on as of this morning; now just have to get the camera recalibrated next week. Just mounted the snow plow as we're expecting 6" to a foot of snow over the next 24 hours - Mother Nature is always one to play practical jokes on Woodchucks.

I'm failing to understand why; the only time my gun will be locked up in the safe is when it's parked... so it won't rattle around. The rest of the time it's on my hip.

I have the 10" Steel version. I did not want my RTT to be too high above the cab...When they can finally off load the boat...lol

Very nice. I would have gone with the Front Runner setup that bolts to the diamond back but trying to be able to haul a canoe.

Tinted one tail light with light smoke film. What a PITA. Should I keep it and do the other?

I’d wrap it before sticking that on. Kind of screams “raptor” to me...

yeah, but those have a specific purpose for gooseneck/fifth-wheels.

Looks great - want to do mine?
Did you remove the light or do it on the truck?
What do you think the impact is on visibility?

I’ve been wondering how one of those would look on the older style trd pro grill.
    I’m still not sure.
Would it fit properly an inch higher in the next channel up?

I always forget you live across from that graveyard.
At least you don’t have to worry about the neighbors turning on bright lights and loud music.:D
    Hopefully.

My company calibrated quickly in the driveway. Whole process took about an hour including the windshield install. Sorry for your bad luck on the windshield front! I also refused anything but dealer glass.

It would fit. It lines up with any of the larger rectangles. I'm going to fab a brace to go behind the grille at work tomorrow so I can secure it properly.

How much time do you have? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .......... Eaton rear eLocker, Camburg 1.5” shackles, Rear Seat Delete, S&B CAI, sPOD, Air Bag Helpers w/ Daystar Cradles, RCI engine & fuel tank skid plates, ABS Guards, Job Box Storage, Tailgate Power Lock, Desert Eagle Offroad tranny/cat security skid plate, Added Driver’s Side Grab Handle, VLEDS Footwell & Step Lighting, Anytime Front Camera, Illuminated Ignition Ring, Console Molle Panel, Sound Dampening in Ceiling/Doors/Floor, Yakima Rack, Paracord Grab Handle Wraps, BD Underhood Light, Tuffy Console Safe Insert, WeBoost System, Midland GMRS Radio, Console Interior Lighting, Power Inverter, Custom Center Switch Panel, and Dual Air Compressors
A Midland GMRS radio was installed a couple of weeks ago while the cab was torn apart. Had time yesterday to capture the info. I took advantage of the forum’s 20% group buy discount to pick up a MXT275 (https://midlandusa.com/product/mxt275-micromobile-two-way-radio/) and MXTA26 6db gain antenna (https://midlandusa.com/product/micromobile-mxta26-6db-gain-whip-antenna/). As much as this forum is draining my wallet, there are times when it also saves me a little cash.

The radio is mounted under the passenger front seat and the mic port extended to a spot under the glove box.

The edge of the trim panel under the glove box was going to be a little narrow after drilling a hole for the RJ45 adapter. To strengthen the area, the back of the trim panel was filled in with epoxy and a small piece of fiberglass.

More pics and details can be found in my build thread. Link in signature block below.

What is a windshield camera (I'm assuming this is a factory installed part not an aftermarket dash cam)? Is this part of TSS? I've never heard of it before.

I like the look and contrast and considering doing the same. It might be interesting to see how it would look one row up on the grille though...

I agree with Ron if the look is what you are after. But as paint protection from what you described, it looks better than scratches would. The first thing I thought of was a Nissan Titan.

Seems maybe a temporary shield could be used to protect the tailgate and only when needed? Maybe this aftermarket cover could be made to install temporarily?...just a thought.

I'll have time this weekend to play with placement. It's just sitting in there for a photo op. If it goes 1 row up I'll have to move it towards the center a little to line it up with a hole. I'll post more pics sometime tomorrow. Kids are running me ragged with baseball season in full swing ;)

It is part of the adaptive cruise control and TSS avoidance system (I might be calling this the wrong thing), but it's all integrated into the rearview mirror area. Someone who knows more than me may have better information though... :)
