What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed Cab Grab Handle from SparksParts. Love it!

 

Installed tri-color logo. It took a little modifying, but I think it looks good set into the recess along the middle of the grill.

 

Finally installed my Firestone riderite bags and daystar cups.
The truck is still jacked up with no air in the bag in the picture. Let it down with 5psi in each bag, they are almost touching the cups. I hit a speed bump harder than I should have to see how that would go, let’s say the bags worked, but alittle harsher than I wanted.
I am very excited to haul my next load with the bags, no more sag and it should help the body roll

 

Katzkin leather with blue stitching got installed today. Wife is a helluva gift giver! I did not install these myself, we had the upholstery shop do it.

 

Installed the 3 vynl toyota herritage color squares to my honeycomb grille. Hated it and ripped em off.

 

Installed my Valhalla Shield today..Will remove and paint here in the next few weeks when I install my lift. I needed the protection ASAP!!

 

Installed a QC + 2 USB charge ports. This is just a test fit, I will be 3d printing a new faceplate that will hold two of these side by side in the same space. This should get the kids by until I print the new plate on Monday.

Had no idea how easy it is to take the rear console piece off. Just aim the vents up, slight lift in the recess above the vents, and lay it down. So simple.

 

That’s crazy! Hope insurance takes care of it.

Got my RCI skidplate installed that I ended up Raptor lining. It meshed well with my aftermarket N-Fab bumper. Got her washed up,, detailed and took some pictures just for the hell of it. Waiting on my +3 Coachbuilder shackles, gonna be an interesting rake until I get my front coilovers on order.. Nothing like a clean, super white 040 Tundra!!

Thanks for the compliment. If I could do it all over again I would go with black Raptor liner. Just as good as Line X and only a fraction of the cost. I can see some rust spots coming up on the welds through the white powdercoat on top of bumper. Driving me nuts.

 

Yea I don’t plan on powder coating. It seems to be fairly expensive compared to rattlecan and mines gonna get dinged up anyway

As it stands I guess I will start looking for another one after all of the hail damage last night. But I was planning on 3” s of lift and a set of nice wheels. That will be on hold now til I get this sorted out.

I am not big on black wheels (probably my age) and all the wheels I think I like are not available for the Tundra so I am having to do an extensive amount of wheel shopping.

AJT interior chrome delete (4x4 knob install pending), TVD vinyl on tailgate and wheels, Tyger tonneau cover, Clazzio seats, removed limo tint from rear windows (back to factory), added 50% tint on the front windows, TRD shifter, OEM bed mat, and Husky X-Act floor mats.

Cat plates and pro grill w/ color match bulge on order.

 

Same. Like it for a day or two and couldn’t tell myself I liked them. Think they look great just not for me

 

Removed my running boards, they had a bit of rust from the winter. I had to order color matched handles and mirror caps. I also installed my bass knob.

Today was a long day. Replaced brakes with EBC stage 5 system (yellow pads and slotted/dimpled rotors), installed SS brake lines (the passenger flex line for the rear axle is a bitch), installed Eibach Pro Sport shocks in rear (prepping for my CB +2 shackles), and lastly installed some 1.25" spacers. Solid 8 - 9 hrs BUT its DONE!

Until 4/26 when I do the front coilovers (and hopefully shackles).

 

@MoonRock2021 is looking for guys to go in on an order for security bolts if interested.

 

Just put a deposit on a 17 TRD Offroad and got a steal on a colour matched grille swap (for a Canadian, anyway).
Now looking at colour keyed bumpers I’m thinking of trying the auto wreckers, are the chrome pieces simple switch outs or do I need to find hardware as well? I’m just thinking how the OEM rears ship with a bunch of brackets and stuff too, when it’s just the chrome trim I’m trying to ditch.

 

I'm not sure on where they ship to, but Bumpershellz seems to be popular.
