Looks good and similar to the route I’m planning. Back spacers?

I did not touch the rear. Once I get it back to my shop and do some measuring, I may need to lift it some.

Did you have to put spacers in the back side of the rim to space the tires out? Any rubbing at full lock?

Yeah, that happened to me when I was changing by backup lights. Cold plus poor gorilla technique pulling on the housing lead to the dreaded "snap" F#@$, but a little super glue and its good to go.

Yeah, only thing I’m worried about is water getting into the housing. It’s cosmetics, but eventually will change out the tail lights.

I'd like to replace my grill emblem with the toyota truck T emblem (like the one on this hat). Anyone know where I can find one?

The part I broke didn't compromise the integrity of the housing, it was the flange holding the knurled stud that pushes through the body. I basically super glued it all as one. It just sucks breaking stuff on a brand new truck especially from my own inattention.

I was able to get a 2, 4 or 6 foot bump out to the garage. I took the four along with 8 ft doors. Thinking of resale if some one were to show up with some sort of monster truck.
Little did I know 11 years later, I'd be the one driving a monster truck...ha!

What lights did you go with? I'm trying to decide which ones to get. I like the 1x2s which look like what you have.

Lol, definitely just a piece of plastic, but then again, that's how marketing gets us.

Do we want to look like the rest of the Toyota's off the lot, or do we want to at least be unique with the 'TOYOTA' lettering than the emblem?

They might have a non illuminating one but I have saved this link in the past. Issue you will have is that your sensor is behind the emblem so you might have to do a sensor relocation if you change it out. Not something I have all the info on, more of an fyi.

Well I yanked my retrofit headlights apart again and redesigned and repainted everything. Went with two-tone Blue Ribbon Metallic and flat black. Not necessarily what I did but what I plan to do to the tank. I've had a soft tri fold gator tonneau cover and want to upgrade to a hard trifold for durability and looks. Looking into either MX4 bakflip or gator efx. Just looking for recommendations on those who have them. Pros/cons, durability and weather resistant/proof more specifically rain.
