What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Damnit! I got 2 growlers filled Friday for weekend and didn’t even think about putting them in my console. Lessen learned

 

Yeah, I would definitely try to get that on replaced.

 

hahahaha!!! I drank half my Jack that evening!! And I deserved every drop!!!

 

i was able to put some force and get mine off without using the steering wheel puller. But it took some strength. If I had the tool I would have used it. But I was impatient after having my wheel off for three days. I was ready to have it finished!!

 

I have the same compressor. It’s rated at 30 amps. I don’t think Ide trust running that through the trailer hookup.

 

I’ve found a couple times that MESO will show out of stock, but using the “contact us” they actually have some stock and will get your info and send you a PayPal invoice.

 

Got my rear window switch relocated. The 42” accessorides harness is JUST long enough.

 

Much better location for the rear window switch, nicely done.

 

Well did another thing to my Tundra. Finally added the drivers side grab handle and put on some door sill guards.

The TRD alloy rim should fit. From my understanding the steel wheel and other factory wheels are same wheel/offset except for the TSS 20"

what did you do with the OEM Limited wheels?

 

The steering wheel was ordered through sparks toyota.

Install was quick and easy.

One annoying thing about the install was that the splines on the new steering wheel are rotated a few degrees from the SR5 steering wheel, so I will have to get it on the alignment rack to straighten the wheel.

It is only off by a degree or 2. Not very noticeable, but you can tell it isn't centered.

IMO it's worth the money. OEM quality.

 

So the TSS 20" wheel does set the wheels out a little bit? I was thinking I was crazy and imagining it.

 

Yep - I've got the MESO start button in my truck (hit my build link in my signature, it's in the first post and hyperlinked). The part number for the Taco and the Tudra (and probably a whole lot of other start buttons in the Toyota lineup) are the same. The chrome trim ring is just clipped in there at the front, so if they show a trick in their video for getting it off without pulling the button, then you should be GTG. The 4x4 switch has to come out, because you have to dismantle the thing to get to the trim ring, but the start button is pretty easy.

 

No....that’s not the passenger side grab handle. Lol

easy install. Took maybe 4 min max as the hardest part was the cutting. Easy and well worth it.

 

Moved positions on my switches this morning, and flipped the rear window switch around.

 

Noob question: What are you cutting? I want to do this in my new truck so badly, I got so used to this handle being there in my Ram 2500, that I reach for air when I get into my new truck.
